He was almost there when he found his loved spouse Fanny. The only bad thing, she was tied to a chair surrounded by very revolting mountain lions. He knew what he had to do. He jumped from the tree in which he was hiding and started to lay down very menacing fire with his big water gun. He shot the two mountain lions on guard in the eyes to blind them. He quickly tied them up and taped their mouths shut so they could not alarm the other 4 lions. He pulled out his small but mighty bubble gun and took out the other 4. He tied them up and scooted them all together after he untied his wife. He left them there and took his wife back to the village. The village was more worried than ever for the Captain Fluffy Bottom. They stopped looking for him and began planning a funeral. Just before they started the ceremony, Captain Fluffy Bottom arose from the jungle and started to pant due to exhaustion. The village stopped what they were doing and greeted him back and were all around thrilled to have him back. He then greeted his wife to the village and went on to enjoy his life in the village. Fanny started to do yoga on the beach with all of the other women. Captain Fluffy Bottom went right back to coconut football and they lived happily ever

Millard High School, like most high schools, has an extremely strong rivalry with its neighboring school, the Delta Rabbits. Maybe it is because of close proximity or maybe it is a fight for which team is the best in the county, but since the two schools started playing each other in 1926, tensions have always ran high in every aspect of competition. At any sporting event between the two schools, one can expect to see a gym, stadium, or field packed with the opposing colors of red vs blue. It is not just the players that make it such a strong competition. Fillmore is a town where you get those teachers who taught your mom, your dad, your grandpa, and all of your siblings. It is a generational fight for superiority that has been engrained in the kids. It is not uncommon to see grandparents, in yelling matches after games.…

In her essay “Shipwreck,” Cat Bohannon argues that displaying bodies of dead humans can be “art”, but this “art” may be difficult to separate from “science.” The text is filled with the author’s research, interviews and her personal reasoning. While observing the process of human dissection and preservation (known as “plastination”), Bohannon has a difficult time understanding this type of art making. For the author, plastination is a complicated and sometimes disturbing process. But she also seems to conclude that plastination is more than just “creative anatomy” (Bohannon 62), and is actually a form of expression just like painting or sculpture.…

The woman is under attack by the Sepoys and one of her slaves helps them run away. "Golab Khan, seeing our perilous situation amidst the increasing flames, and that every moment was precious, with his characteristic presence of mind and quickness, had suddenly thought of a plan by which to draw away the mob, who, after having satisfied themselves with all the plunder they could get, were every moment becoming more eager in their search for us. He boldly went up to them, won their confidence by declaring himself of their faith, and willing to give us up into their hands. He assured them it was useless to continue their search in the house; but if they would all follow him, he would lead them to a haystack, where we had been concealed." The family is safe in hiding but team up with other families to defeat the Sepoys. " Active preparations at the same time went on in organising a field force. At length all was in readiness, and the order for the march was hailed with delight; sanguine were our hopes that a fortnight, or at the most three weeks, would see our gallant little army on its victorious return. With many and oft-repeated good wishes and prayers, we saw them depart. On the night of the 27th May they marched…

Ship-Trap Island — true to its name. It has now claimed a hunter and author, Sanger Rainsford. However, there are other people on the island. Rainsford finds the house where the other people live, and he's greeted by Ivan, a deaf, monstrous man that can’t speak. Ivan, pointing his gun at Rainsford, was not someone you’d want to run into. Another man by the name of General Zaroff came down the steps. He signaled Ivan to put his gun away and welcome him to their home. They ate, toured the house, and went hunting later on. Rainsford was being hunted rather than hunting. After three days, he had successfully eluded the general, and he was the first to win the game. Still afraid for his life, Rainsford kills General Zaroff. He had already killed Ivan with one of his traps and one of Zaroff's best dogs with another. Fear can cause people to do things they don’t want to do, but depending on the circumstances, there can be a fine line between "killing" and "murder."…

The project was really unique in the sense that I got to go back and visit my past and feel nostalgic. Captain Underpants without a question was one of my childhood favorites and pushed me in the right direction. I hated reading as a kid, but I made an exception for Captain Underpants. I enjoyed researching the book mostly because I would have more insight and understanding of the actual meaning. The ludicrous thing I found out was that Captain Underpants was the most banned book in the U.S. This was hard to wrap my head around, because Dav Pilkey only had good intentions for writing the series of novels. Through hours of research JJ and I expanded our knowledge on Book Censorship as well as overall suppression content to the public. The information…
