Capstone Project Reflective Report
I received a 2.88 out of 3 on the Capstone Project. . In completing the Capstone Project I was able to demonstrate my comprehension of InTASC Standard Eight. Due to the fact that every student is different, it is crucial to identify a student’s individual needs and find strategies that would help this particular student. For the Capstone project, I was tasked with finding five need-based strategies to help an ELL with his reading. My student particularly struggled with vocabulary. I was able to use cognates as an aide to show him how English and Spanish have similar spelling and pronunciations.
