ii has neither work experience nor a certificate?

iii has a certificate if he has some previous work experience?

2. Because of economic conditions, a firm reports that 30 percent if its accounts receivable from other business firms are overdue. If an accountant takes a random sample of 10 such accounts, determine the probability that p=30% @ 0.3 n=10 X~B(10,0.3)
a. none of the account is overdue
By referring to the Binomial Table,
P(X=0) = 1 – P(X ≥ 1) = 1 – 0.9718 = 0.0282
b. exactly 2 accounts are overdue
By referring to the Binomial Table,
P(X=2) = P(X ≥ 2) – P(X ≥ 3) = 0.8507 – 0.6172 = 0.2335
c. less than 5 accounts are overdue.
By referring to the Binomial Table,
P(X<5) = 1 – P(X ≥ 5) = 1 – 0.1503 = 0.8497

d. Suppose that in a year, an auditor is responsible to check 40 of such accounts. What is the probability that less than 15 accounts are overdue? n = 40 , p = 0.3 ; λ = np = (40)(0.3) = 12 thus, X ~ P(12)
P(X

There are several perceptions about the causes of property crime in the United States. Many believe that the degree of property crime is determined by various factors including per capita income for each state, percentage of public aid recipients, high school dropout rates and many more. This project seeks to provide evidence for or against some of these common perceptions about property crime. Specifically it seeks to answer the questions: are crime rates higher in urban than rural areas? Does unemployment or education level contribute to property crime rates? Other independent variables that will be studied include public aid for families with children, population density, and average precipitation in the major city in each state.…
