Burleson Code Of Conduct Summary
Burleson, Inc. has established a Code of Conduct for all employees, regardless of position, that encompasses the following topics in compliance with all laws and mission statement in order to enhance our corporate culture. Contracts
Our contract will usually be in the form of a detailed proposal, including aims, activities, costs, timescales and deliverables. The quality of our service and the value of our support provide the only true basis for continuity. We always try to meet our clients' contractual requirements, and particularly for situations where an external funding provider requires more official parameters and controls.
Fees
Our fees are always competitive for what we provide, which is high quality, tailored, specialized service. As such we do not generally offer arbitrary discounts; generally a reduction in price is only enabled by reducing the level or extent of services to be delivered. That said, we always try to propose solutions which accommodate our clients' available budgets and timescales. Wherever possible we agree our fees and basis of charges clearly in advance, so that we and our clients can plan reliably for what lies ahead, and how it is to be achieved and financially

Contracts are essential in the business world and apply to both large and small businesses (Lau, 2011). Essentially, contracts are a legally enforceable promise to do something in exchange for something of value (Beesley, 2016). Elements of a contract formation include offer, acceptance and consideration (Colorado State University – Global Campus, 2016). Without proper formation, contracts can be invalid (Lau, 2011). The six elements of contract formation are offer, acceptance, consideration, mutuality of obligation, competency and capacity, and sometimes a written instrument (US Legal, n.d.). Contracts can be both bilateral, meaning an agreement between two parties, or unilateral, where action is taken by one party or group (Lau, 2011). This…

In the Code of Conduct 2012, certain values and principals have been put in place to help the nurses carry out professional conduct in practice. There are eight principals which have been based on the four underlying values of ethical nursing; respect, trust, partnership and integrity. The fourth principle of the code instructs RNs to ‘Maintain health consumer trust by providing safe and competent care’. In 4.5 of this principle, nurses are strongly advised to ask for advice and assistance from colleagues whenever the care of a patient may be compromised by either a lack of knowledge or skill (NCNZ, 2012). This standard related to Jo because in her situation she lacked knowledge and the right to prescribe. Instead of taking the situation into…
