Bte210 Reflection
I enjoyed taking BTE210 this semester; I feel I learned a lot of valuable information that will be useful to me in my future in the workplace. Learning about software was a topic that I was very interested in because I had never considered how vital and necessary it is to my everyday routine. The computer hardware is generally of no use without operating system and application software running it. Computers are only as smart as the programs running them. Both system software and application software are very distinct and important. The software system includes system management program, system support program, system development program. The application software includes general purpose applications and application specific programs. Now knowing

When I began the process of researching my first project for EH 1020, I started off with one idea in mind, however, when I started the research process for that specific project I was not content with the results of my research. Professor Appelt, I must admit it got a little challenging at that point of the research process, not finding information that I felt was relevant to the topic I selected to learn about concerning the security of Google. Nonetheless, I recalled the information in Unit I, EH 1020 on selecting a topic, and the examples given on what makes for a good topic was very refreshing to fall back on. Furthermore, after sitting down and brainstorming as well as exploring a subject that I felt would make a good argument; my research…

We are working to integrate and synchronize the staff as I implement changes as a result observations in the last couple of weeks. I would also like to highlight the efforts of our EES Mr. Dave Dormann. This last week Mr. Dormann first went to Defense Health Headquarters (DHHQ/OTSG), where he discussed the rumors of the Air Force and Navy supporting 5 year HPSP. It was discovered that the Air Force does not support 5 year programs, and the Navy was unknowingly and after finding out has stopped there 5 year program. The outcome of this meeting is that the Army will not support 5 year medical programs. Meanwhile, we were working on ensuring that our applicant packets were corrected as needed for the 22 August board. We are also delving into our…

The first standard I demonstrated was standard one. Standard one is supporting instructional opportunities. I have used my knowledge of basic writing and writing readiness. In Mrs. Hettinger’s class, I assisted a student on his spelling packet. The student had to write the spelling words in alphabetical order. I went through each letter of the alphabet and asked him if there were any words that started with that letter. Some of the words began with the same letter, so we had to look at the letters that came next. The student was able to write all of the spelling words in alphabetical order, he just needed some guidance.…

Hello, I’m Hannah. This is my freshman year of college, and this reflection is for my UWRT 1103 class. Overall I think that this is a successful semester. We have covered research skills, writing skills, and what encompasses the human experience. This class has also touched upon discrimination and ways to help solve those issues. I have learned how to do field research through my practicum. The best part of my practicum experience was becoming more acquainted with some of the people in my dorm. Another learning experience was the different forms of literacy. I learned that literacy doesn’t only have to do reading or writing. The best part of my literacy project was being able to practice my baking skills.…
