Brown Is Beautiful Persuasive Speech
Rap in general is a very strong lyric form of music. There are so many different forms of rappers and really enjoyed reading your post, because I feel that you describe each item very nicely. Describing rap as poetry is a great way to represent it to others. A rap is always a very personal form of music because the artist has to really feel what he is saying. I agree that the Brown Dream describes some of the more tragic sacrifices that many Mexican’s and Mexican Americans have to endure. It is sad because many have risked and even lost their lives in order to get an education. Brown is Beautiful does display a lot of pride. We often forget about our ethnicity and our backgrounds, but I felt that with this video you are reminded. You are reminded

Lately there have been a lot of break-ins and armed robberies in Jimboomba by ‘teenagers’. They’ve been demanding money from store clerks, some with knifes, baseball bats, and anything in between. To be honest I do not find the joy in doing such a thing, I believe that if you work hard enough to earn a living you will feel as if you have done well in this life and honestly I wouldn’t feel good knowing I have someone else’s hard earned money all to myself. I know that some of the crimes committed aren’t so bad, but the teens should be punished to learn from their mistakes, I believe that by doing so it will cause the community to feel safer and engage the government to make Jimboomba a better place to live.…

Perhaps you should first of all read the evidence presented to the Grand Jury. It doesn't say most of that at all, that's just one particular interpretation of it. The problem is, unlike at a trial, there was no cross examination. In fact, the prosecution didn't ask ONE SINGLE CRITICAL QUESTION in 4 hours of his testimony. You know, such as why On August 15th Wilson and his chief put out a statement saying 'he wasn't aware of any robbery report', and then in his testimony it was all about the robbery report. Or what happened in the 2 hours after Wilson left the scene with his police union rep before being initially questioned and checked over by medics (because that police rep *totally* couldn't have clocked Wilson in the face to bolster his claims after coming up with that story - yeah, completely impossible.…

Although Morgan addresses the negatives to hip-hop music and rap, she also highlights what she appreciates and admires about it. The things she values in this style of music is that it offers a rare opportunity for black men to voice their despair, and she values the fact that its popularity provides a channel for a strong voice commenting on their communities. Morgan argues that listeners should hear these sexist and angry lyrics as a sign that large-scale changes that are necessary in the opportunities available to black men.…

Before I begin my exposition, I want to take a moment to quote the wise King Solomon’s book of Ecclesiastes, whereupon he has written, “Vanity of vanities, all is vanity.” Indeed, everything that man sought throughout history has been but one vain attempt after another to satisfy our lust, our wish to conquer and own everything. This fool’s wish hath bent man into a crooked being, to the point of forcefully enlisting the aid of unwilling others to achieve this impossible goal. One of those among the unwilling was in life my grandfather.…

Dr. Carson was invited to speak to students a school in Chicago. Before he spoke, Dr. Carson attended a reception where many different school officials and religious leaders told him about the troubled school that he was going to speak at. All the rumors caused the doctor to worry about the welcome he would receive from students. When he walked into the auditorium of the school his worries vanished as students applauded, and cheered for their guest speaker. For his speech, Dr. Carson told a story about being seen as cool or being seen as a nerd. It started with the cool guy having a nice car, a beautiful girlfriend, a varsity jacket, and what seemed like the perfect and ideal life. Then there was the nerd riding on the bus with an armful of books and a very low social status. After a few years, the cool guy did not do well in school and ends up working at a fast-food restaurant while the nerd gets a scholarship and heads off to college. A few more years go by and the cool guy still works at the fast-food place and is still cool. The nerd finishes college and takes a job at a Fortune 500 company and gets contacts, some suits, and a new car. All the girls in his old neighborhood then want to know him, not the "cool"…
