Boys Don T Cry Research Paper
Boys (and girls) are most likely crying from the fact that “Boys Don’t Cry” has not been released yet. When will Frank Ocean’s new album come out?

Talking about careers, what do musicians and artists usually wear? Lawyers wear suits while scientists wear lab coats. So why is this particular musician sporting a nurse’s scrub uniform and what does this have to do with Frank Ocean’s new album?

Because the guy wearing the nurse’s outfit is Frank Ocean. According to Hip Hollywood, there are fears that suggest that he may be turning back from music for good. Ocean has not dropped his sophomore album and fans can only wonder why he is running around wearing a medical scrub suit instead of working on his songs. Does this mean he is dropping his music

Even though President Lincoln wrote the Emancipation Proclamation to free the slaves, the white people showed their power over the black people through sharecropping, which is known as another form of slavery. In the book Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry, written by Mildred D. Taylor, Cassie Logan, a nine-year old black girl, starts to learn about the racial segregation during the 1930's, in Mississippi, the former slave state. Unlike most of the black families who sharecropped, the Logan’s had their own plot of land. She, Stacey, her brother, and their parents struggled because of the white families. For the Logan’s, the fight against the white people is probably enough, but T.J., Stacey’s friend, builds on top of their troubles. Various characters are affected by the…

In an article called Malibu Local’s Only: “Boys will be Boys”, Brian Ludeke successfully argues how MLO qualifies as gang explaining multiple factors as to why it should be established as a criminal street gang. The California Penal Code 186.22, defines a criminal street gang as, “an ongoing organization of 3 or more persons, with a common name, or identifying mark or symbol, having as one of its primary activities the commission of the crimes listed and whose members individually or collectively engage in criminal activity (Trial Brief, 2006). MLO possesses many of the elements listed within the document that constitutes gang activity such as its organization, common name, primary purpose, pattern of gang activity, crimes, and membership…

"You're such a loser!" But what entails being a loser? Do losers fart and then make a farting sound to cover up, or are losers people who make up e-mail addresses like cool_girl22@hotmail.com? Our image of a loser has changed as we have progressed through life, but I find the way we defined losers when we were children the most entertaining. Not only did we once classify people as losers, but we also associated them with different degrees of "loser-hood." Someone could be a "real" loser, a "total" loser, or a "complete" loser. Just how did each loser fall under such a category?…

CJPascoe showed some very important findings when it came to boys showing masculinity and power. The first finding is when she is watching the skit that the boys made. The revenge of the nerds. It addressed masculinity because two teenage boys come out and had nerdy clothing on finishing off the look with their glasses taped together. The crowd was laughing at them because of their appearance and right away one can infer that the crowd finds it funny that the boys are being effeminate just because of the nerdy look. Then the boys lose their girlfriends to the gangsters because compared to the gangsters they look soft and weak. The nerds then decide they must lift weights to become masculine to get their girlfriends back. Mid skit the crowd…

I am generally a well behaved kid. I don’t get angry easy but one thing that makes me mad is when I get in trouble for something I didn’t do. In ninth grade I sat between two kids, Ryan and Danny. I knew Ryan he was one of my good friends but, he has ADHD so he liked to mess around. I didn’t really know Danny so he did not talk to me much. I sat between them in the corner. They talked constantly to each other. Ryan would also always tell me jokes at random times and he would laugh at his own jokes. Since I was between them, the teacher would just assume that I was also talking. Eventually he moved my seat into the middle of the classroom next to a student helper. I hated going to that class because I was constantly getting pissed off.…

Racism can cause many problems, in some cases death. In the book “Cry The Beloved Country” Absalom was imprisoned for killing a white man. In this book by Alan Paton all the crimes that came up were blamed on the black people of that area. Sometimes racism can be stronger than the knowledge that all races are still human and that all should be treated equally.…
