BIOMETRICS

• Output The biometrics system must provide a complete record of the employee’s attendance.

• Input The system receives the scanned fingerprint of the employee.

• Process The system matches the fingerprint with the employee’s file and records the time-in and time-out.

• Performance The system must produce accurate hours worked by the employee.

• Controls The chief accountant must be the only person accessible in the chips of the biometrics.

PAYROLL

• Output The payroll system must produce a payroll summary every 15 days; and pay slip of the employees.

• Input The system must get the employee payroll information for the calculation of salaries.

• Process The payroll system must calculate employee salaries base on work hours plus increases and deductions.

• Performance The system must provide a payroll summary every 15 days for the preparation of the pay slips.

• Controls The chief accountant must be the only person who can update the allowances, bonuses and tax rates.
