Who was Bill Gates? Is he an anonymous man who is rich, or a successful person? William Henry "Bill" Gates is more than just an ordinary being. Born on October 28, 1955, the current chairman of Microsoft, Bill Gates founded the world’s largest personal-computer software company. He was the world's wealthiest people and was the wealthiest from 1995 to 2009. During his career at Microsoft, Gates was CEO and big computer programmer. He has also authored several books.
Gates is one of the best-known entrepreneurs in the world. Gates was born in Seattle, Washington. His parents are English, German, and Scots-Irish. His father was a prominent lawyer, and his mother served on the board of directors. Gates grandfather was J. W. Maxwell, a national bank president. Gates has one elder sister, Kristi (Kristianne), and one younger sister, Libby. He was the fourth of his name in his family. His parents had a law career in mind for him, but were even prouder when he found Microsoft and Windows.
