Self made multi-billionaire, businessman as well as philanthropist Bill Gates was born in Seattle, Washington in 1955. He is one of Americas best known self made billionaire. The donations to world made by him are plethora amount, however, most significant and probably his best is his organization Microsoft. The organization was established during 1975 Bill Gates worked hours and hours and in virtually no time was capable to take his organization to a multi-billion dollar firm. During 2000, Bill and his wife Melinda established the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The foundation’s main objective was to further the help of education and health in low-income areas all over the country. During 2006, he stepped down from full time at Microsoft to devote additional time to the foundation. This man has donated well over 20 million dollars to organizations around the world Encyclopedia. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1929. He was raised to become a Baptist minister and a public activist, even though a public activist during his time was an extremely risky course of action in a racial charged world of the times. Dr. King and his guidance during the civil rights movements in the 1950’s made important effects to get same legal rights for all Americans, despite the color of their skin. Some of the more notable assistances Dr. King made to society were the desegregation of the bus lines in Montgomery, Alabama in 1956. Dr. King gained national recognition when he became the head of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, whose main objective was to take gain of non-violent techniques to create racial equality.
