1. First and foremost, we occupy our precious time shrewdly if we keep pets.
For instance, if we keep a rabbit as our pet, we need to spare some time to feed it and to take care of it.
Thus, it averts us from frittering away our golden time.
In other words, keeping pets keeps our time well-spent.
Thereupon, we won’t get involved in any social problems.
Besides that, we won’t go astray too.
Obviously, social problems among teenagers will be decreased rapidly and tremendously.

2. Secondly, it cuts down our stress.
Nowadays, people tend to lead a hectic life.
So, we are overwhelmed by mounting stress now and then.
Furthermore, we also do not have ample time to unwind.
By keeping pets, they can ebb away our tension and apprehension.
This is because our pets will keep us company and cheer us up.
We can take our pet such as a dog, cat, for a walk.
We can even express our feeling to them as they are good listeners.

3. If we keep pets, we can become virtuous.
We enrich ourselves with moral values.
We learn to be patient and caring when our pet dog is sick.
In addition, we need to be gentle and responsible to it.
It is our responsibility to be watchful of our pet at all times,
These moral values help us in our work and study.
Besides, we will know how to deal with people and problems correctly, smartly and patiently.

For my own my research I went online. I found that petting cats can lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels long term which improves cardiovascular function all while releasing endorphins in our bodies. Not only do cats just make us feel good but in a way they help us live longer and healthier. Also, that people with pets tend to be less depressed and lonely. Physical contact with cats leads to the body making oxytocin- a distressing hormone. Cat owners have a reduced chance of dying from a stroke or heart disease. Cats provide an attachment and a purpose for someone who is feeling depressed or even…

In my essay, I will first introduce the common ideas regarding why we own animals and the benefits of having them. Then I will discuss Freud’s analysis of pets through Civilization and Its Discontents and also through his own experiences with his dogs. Lastly, I will explain the effects of pets on human mental health, and conclude with the discussion of animal…

A healthier, longer life-span for your pet, as well as less stress for you is some of the benefits of spaying or neutering your companion animal. The odds of your pet developing cancer and other harmful infections are greatly reduced after spaying or neutering. Your animal’s natural mating needs often result in your pet being distracted. Other disadvantages include untidy heat cycles, aggressive behavior, marking their territory, and embarrassing sexual advances toward humans or things. Think of the stress of having an unexpected expense due to the unplanned pregnancy of your dog or cat. Who can afford such an unnecessary expense? Rest assured, this misfortune can easily be prevented by having your pet spayed or neutered.…

Many pets are very loving and it’s easy to love them back. Some people, though, go overboard. They treat their pets like one of the family. Sometimes they even set a place for them at the table or give them their own rooms in the house. They treat them as if they were children. Some pets are, in fact, substitutes for children. People need to keep their perspective about their pets. Dressing a pet up in clothes like a child is not emotionally healthy. Pets are animals and get confused if you expect them to act like human beings. There are now stores devoted entirely to pets. They sell pet food, pet toys, pet clothes, pet homes. Pets should be given apoiate food, and they should have a few toys, since they need some enjoyment just like humans do. However, some pet owners spend hundreds of dollars on supplies for their pets. There are children in the world who don’t have clothes or food or toys. It would be better to give some of that money to charity. Feeling close to your pet can be very satisfying and healthy, as long as you don’t overdo…
