Internet is helping to keep family and friends in touch. Not to mention connecting new friends! This is good for any elderly or handicapped family members who want to keep in touch with the rest of their kin. Or anyone who lives far away from the rest of their family. Think about how often you use some electronic, internet device to communicate with someone. It is probably pretty often, if not daily. Now, picture not being able to use any of those, complicated, right? This proves many Americans use internet technology as a form of communication.

The majority of technology breakthroughs are going to make life simpler, one way or another. As of right now, the technology we have can do so much, but what will this be like in the future? It also might just improve something that already exists. In the end, it will make life easier, and who can disagree with

Now, people are able to do many things through the Internet in just one window and with a simple click. For instance, many people are paying their bills on line. Instead of having to go to the local business office and having human contact, now they pay through the Internet. Another good example is education. Many people aren't able to attend a normal school schedule because of their indisposition of time; therefore, online education is an excellent way to stay in school. Now people can create their own schedule and learn from their computer to continue their desire of education. Messages are also a good example in how people communicate these days. Currently, e-mail is a very fast way that people use to have contact with their family or friends by just clicking "send" and being answered in less than a minute. Most people prefer to use e-mail instead of sending a letter by posted mail because they would have to put the message in an envelope, buy a stamp, take it to the post office and wait more than one minute to be received. However, the people that use often the Internet know that the Internet is currently taking away human contact because of its convenience. People forget that it is important to keep human contact because society needs each other to fulfill their needs, for example its smell, its touch, feelings, sight, and many other…

In a world that has only one constant factor, which is change, it is imperative as educators to provide an education for students that will provide them with a successful foundation for their future endeavors. In order to provide accurate material to students, we, as an educational community, need to gain an understanding for where the world and society is today, as well as the projected developments of the future. Whether the middle school students sitting in the classroom are college bound, or eager to enter the workforce upon high school graduation, all students are in need of technology education. Today, the projected job market is dominated by technology oriented positions and professional growth. An article from the U.S. News reports “As technology seemingly advances its way into every nook and cranny of our society, the job market for individuals with vat knowledge of it is ever expanding” (U.S. News, 2012). We live in an era where a myriad of gadgets and gizmos are available for our everyday convenience. Everyone gets lucky at some point in their lives. I personally was lucky at birth. Being born into a kind and caring family, parents with well paid jobs, and are very strong financially. I live in a beautiful house that not many people could afford. I receive a proper education, preparing me to do the same for my children, and the generation after, and so forth. See, I live in an age where technology has evolved. Teachers use smart boards and online textbooks to teach lessons and prepare us for our futures in the world. When my parents were around the same age as me, they didn’t have any of these things. In some ways, the generation of today has received an answer key to many dilemmas in their everyday lives. Confused on something in school? Students simply would search the web and find an answer to their question in a matter of seconds. Although this is a great source of information, has the current generation become too reliant on it, using it as more of a crutch than a helpful resource? In my opinion, America has given this to us as a gift. A gift to a simpler life, where cars can drive themselves, and information can be learned by a click of a button. We’ve constantly repeated the process of improvement throughout American history.…
