Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791), “Mozart is among the least autobiographical of composers” (Greenberg, 2011, p. 144). According to Greenberg (2011), regarding Mozart, “his music came from a source frankly divorced from issues and worries of the everyday”, the things inspired him were not from emotional events in his life expressed in his music. Deep emotional events in his life which should have inspired certain emotional expression in his art were in fact not reflected at all. What was expressed in his compositions at certain junctions in his life had no correlation to his personal turmoil or joy. According to Greenberg (2011), apparently Mozart had his finished works stored in his head all he need do is sit down and write them. There are no indications of…

When I look at a deaf person or hard of hearing person, I look at them a lot different now than I did growing up. Through my grade school years our school had special classes for students with handicaps and disabilities. We had one student named Josh (He was hard of hearing), who went to our school for a couple of years. He would go to his special class in the morning and then join the regular class later in the day. Josh was one of the first hard of hearing persons I have ever met. He seemed normal but I associated him as having a handicap or disability because he went to the “special class”. So from there I always associated deaf people as having a handicap. Josh would occasionally get special treatment because…

Johannes Brahms I selected Johannes Brahms because I believe that he was an amazingly interesting musician and person. I love the way in which he thought out his compositions so academically, trying to express literature and the feelings that it conveys through his music. Also, I find interesting the way in which he expressed these feelings while always maintaining structure and form in his compositions. Moreover, I feel like I relate to him at some level, as it is said that he was very organized and pretty much a perfectionist. It is believed that when he did not like one of his works, he would get rid of it; destroy it, even after being complete.…

When these people are given handicaps they really can not think for themselves anymore or make their own decisions. Example George is thinking about the ballerinas on the T.V. he was in the middle of a thought when the handicap buzzed cutting him off of the thought making it virtually lost to him. Further along in the story none of the musicians can actually play any of the instruments because if they could everybody would have to and some people just naturally do things better. Therefore causing none of the people to be able to express themselves in an artistic way for it would cause them to not be…
