Bill Gates was born on October 28, 1955 in Seattle; Washington .He was very keen on computer program. Gates spent his time to read books and did very well in drama and English at school. His years in Seattle’s Lakeside School, he spent time to work on the teletype terminal by a Seattle computer company provided computer time for the students. In Lakeside School, he met Paul Allen, who was his co-founder of Microsoft. After graduated from high school in 1973, he went to Harvard University with his SAT score was 1950 out of 1960 and remained contact with Paul Allen to work on a BASIC software program. In 1975, Gates and Allen established the Microsoft and wrote the software in different format for computer. Microsoft was the world’s largest software business in the computer industry and Bill Gates was the most successful and the richest businessman in the world. In 2000, he turned over the job to his college friend Steve Ballmer who had been with Microsoft since 1980. Bill Gates is still a chief software architect of Microsoft. The appearance of Bill Gates and Microsoft changed the way people use computer in the world. Before the computer, people had to type a letter or a report by using typewriter. Gradually, people invented the computer which had many different programs for people. Until 1989, Microsoft introduced the Microsoft Office includes Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. The two useful programs make people type letter, information, and everything they want to do easier. It doesn’t waste too much time as the typewriter. In the past, people had to pay attention to type because it could be wrong easily and couldn’t be fixed. Microsoft Word uses to type letters, documents with different form for people to choose
