Australian Flag Persuasive Speech
Picture yourself in a museum and you see a flag with four red stars with white borders and a union jack. Then you say that's Australia's flag. You are not completely wrong. New Zealand's flag has a similarity with Australia. This is Australia's flag: union jack and five stars that are white. We could accidentally put the Australian flag in a zeppelin and show it in an special e.g we won the international soccer tournament. Why did Australia's flag get shown instead of NZ? Because NZ’s flag looks a lot much like Australia. I guarantee that you will feel like the NZ flag should change after you have read this.

Those in favour of the flag changing have made a very good choice. Compare the two flags together. Anyway, I will tell you that flag

    God Bless America and Ant Farm are similar for an obvious reason…they both are about flags. However, they both have totally different meanings. Ringgold's work is about civil rights and racism while Yanagi's work is about cultural globalization and nationalism. (Sayre, p.21) In a way, they are similar in that they both deal with political and social issues that African Americans and Japanese citizens face everyday. Racism is not only a black/white problem it includes people of ALL races whether it be black, white, Hispanic, Japanese, Chinese, Korean or even Jewish. Racism doesn't just cover the color of your skin, it covers everything about an individual's way of life including their religion and the style of clothes he or she may wear.     PTSD or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is a psychiatric disorder that can occur following the experience or witnessing of life-threatening events such as the military combat, natural disasters, terrorism incidents, or any major tragedy. This is common in the life of veterans and is the leading cause of suicide among veterans. A VA patient who survived in Baghdad shares his experience with PTSD and explains how he knew he had this disability. Many veterans speak out about this issue and describe their continuous anger, alcohol addiction, and constantly wanted to fight. They usually feel very isolated and distant from their loved ones. One patient states, “PTSD involves rocketing into extreme states of stress re-activity; in the form of terror, rage, and uncontrollable impulses, and plunging into equally extreme states of being shut-down—exhaustion, emotional numbing, despair, and dissociation”.
