Athletes are bad role models. The other hand, “Athletes take drugs to enhance their performance”(nelsonprice.com NA).Athletes mostly do drugs to enhance their performance for most sports. Also, many have gotten caught publicly and since these kids have their absolute favorite player they want t o be just like them. Once the media gets out the kids starts to do drugs just like his favorite athlete. Furthermore, these drugs are very harmful especially to kids. My argument is that over time that rate has gone extremely low because of how much is at stake. Especially for their personal lives including providing for their families and jobs.
