Asq Reflection
The Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ) project was one of the tools that helped me understand the milestones and key developments that a normal child goes through. I had fun interacting with the daughter of my mom’s friend. I never really knew about this screening tool until we had to do it for this class. I was able to apply what we have learned in the assigned readings in conducting the ASQ.
As I witnessed this child grow up, I saw how quickly her development changed over time. She could not even walk when I first took care of her and now I get tired chasing after her because she keeps on running around. I also observed how her language and vocabulary developed. Three years ago she was just babbling and today she would not stop talking
