AS geography revision
Start early…. There is a lot to learn. Use this as your starting point.

Graded long profile (only briefly mentioned, you could do with more info)
Recurrence intervals / magnitude frequency analysis for flooding is not mentioned

Coastal flooding- the CGP guide says tsunami but the syllabus wants storm surges so hurricane Katrina.

You will do a mock in class to practise your timing.
Case studies: Each teacher will have slight variations in the case studies they use. Some of the key ones are listed in bold in the list below. There is a set of case study revision notes created by a past student on Moodle which you can use / adapt.
What follows is a list of what you should know for each of the 4 modules
Coastal environments
The coastal system- make sure you know a list of the inputs, outputs and processes. Remember that there are so many potential stores that we don’t learn a list of them. The key idea with a system is that you change one part of it, the whole thing will be affected. Waves: Know what creates waves and what influences how much energy the sea might have.
