Argumentative Essay: The Hillary Clinton Debate
I feel as if Hillary Clinton is more convincing because her answers are well-constructed and it clearly proven that she has done her homework on Trump; of what he had said prior to the debate, like with the bus and “locker room talk”. She is all about the people, throughout the entire debate she is talking what she wants for the people, she wants to work with each and everyone of us, to make sure we do our part in the nation. She plans to make America a country full of tolerance and acceptance of one another; being equal and supporting each other. She has never interrupted Trump (except that one time and it was allowed and she apologized for it) She answered the question thoroughly and understood what the audience was asking. Trump

Hillary and Trump both had very persuasive speeches, they both used the three appeals very differently, like Hillary used the emotional appeal more and Trump used the logical and the ethical appeal more. They both were very well thought out speeches and they both spoke to the delegates at each convention plus the people that were watching on TV. They both made an a point to at least try and use all three rhetorical appeals to be the most persuasive they can be, but in the end, its up to what people in America see fit. Its up to the Americans to go over everything the candidate believes in and what they say in these speeches to decide who would be the better president. Hillary and Trump both have many reasons why they feel they are the best…

With the elections less than a few months away, political debates always seem to get the best of politicians and their supporters. This year’s debate was nothing short of unexpected controversies. Shortly after the debate held on the night of September 9th, uproar arose all over America after the remarking comments that candidate Hilary Clinton made about Donald Trump and his supporters.…

Since the beginning of this race, millions of us Americans have become more and more doubtful of Hillary Clinton's ability to defeat Mr. Trump. There is no longer any doubt that Hillary Clinton has become a burden to the public and to the party. When we ponder all her issues, including her health complications, her 'pay to play' foundation, her war exploiting, and her email scandal, to name just a few, it appears that her deficiencies far exceed her positives. Donald lacks clear thinking and must never become Commander-in-Chief. Scaring voters with the prospect of Trump as president is only another Secretary Clinton media tactic to deceive us into voting for a corporate puppet who will lead us into war as she destroys…

In the end I’m fine with either candidate. I have acted like, and sometimes I have joked about wanting Donald Trump to win. Either way both candidates aren’t great, but they can’t ruin the country single handedly. I would like to see the change that Donald Trump would bring, but I would be fine with Hillary leading similarly to president Obama. We, the American people should be fine no matter…

During the third Presidential Debate both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump both have strong arguments and strong beliefs, but the way Clinton uses rhetorical appeal to catch the attention of her audience is outstanding. She is a career politician and is able to convey her points and views much more effectively than Donald Trump. The three main points that I find to be very interesting are abortion, gun laws and the tax cuts. All three of these topics are very hot topics, now do I agree with everything she says no but she has all the right arguments to win a debate. She keeps her calm better than Trump, that’s not to say she doesn’t show signs of breaking from frustration but compared to him she is much more experienced. Donald Trump sometimes comes off as an…

Hillary really hasn’t accomplished anything that shows she is qualified to be the President. She just got lucky and married the right man, Bill Clinton. She only got elected senator in New York because Bill used to be President. While senator, Hillary voted to invade Iraq and supported the Iraq war, but other than that she didn’t do anything important as a senator. After 8 years as senator, she then was appointed Secretary of State where she did more harm than good. In her chosen field of foreign policy, Clinton has racked up a terrible record. She has done nothing to advance the cause of Israeli- Palestinian peace or even to halt Israel’s increasing land grab there. Why is she considered qualified to be President? Because she married…

Hillary is the democratic candidate and Donald is the republican. Trump’s policies have been very controversial through the process of this year's election. His views on things like immigration and self rights have worried people around the country. Another thing that has been questioned of his is his morals and character. He has been involved in many cases of domestic violence and many cases with women including assault. Is this the type of person we want in charge of our country? The democratic candidate Hillary Clinton has been caught many times lying about past actions. One example is her view on same sex marriage. Years ago she has talked about how she doesn’t believe it is right or should be legalized. What seems like what has happened is she changes her views according to what would get her more votes. These people would not be fit to be the…

Honest. Inspiring. Bold. These are all words that remind people of Carly Fiorina. Carly Fiorina once said this inspirational statement about military men and women. “I would start by respecting and honoring by lifting up those brave men and women who serve us abroad and serve us at home, because we need their service and we should thank them every day.” The military is very personal to Carly because her father was in the army. Carly is an independent, strong, and a great Christian woman.…

I believe that the Presidential Election of 2000 was illegitimate. The reason is because there were 175,000 declared uncountable ballots that were either dimpled or hanging Chads (1). Additionally, if these votes were hand counted, I believe that Al Gore would have been ahead and would have won the state of Florida. Additionally, the state of Florida had a purge list of 20,000 US citizens that were unable to vote (1). For example, if a Florida citizen had the same name as a convicted felon, and/or initials, the list captured their name and automatically placed it on the purge list. Because of this list, many people were turned away at the polls on election day. In the state of Florida, there are 67 counties and 18 of those counties chose…

I chose to use the 2012 Presidential General Election, because I remember this election the most detailed. The candidates running for the democratic side were Barack Obama for president and Joe Biden for vice president. Running for the republican side were Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan. The presidential candidates for the libertarian party were Gary Johnson and his vice presidential candidate James Gary. The overall winner(s) of the 2012 Presidential election was/were President Barak Obama and Vice President Joe Biden.…

People are tired of the same old sleazy lying politician who rely on promises they’ve made but not kept. According to a poll by U.S news 58% of Americans are tired of the regular lying politician who tells you what you want to hear, but hides the truth (Sullivan 2016). People are fed up with being lied to, fed up with empty promises. Furthermore, the thing that makes Donald Trump so great is that he’s not that, he is not a lying politician he is a business man who’s only goal is to Make America Great Again. When asked why he was running Trump’s response was, “ I want to Make America Great Again, I’m not doing it for the money or the title, I’m doing it because I care about this country and its future.” In other words, Trump brings an advantage to the table by being an “outsider” in the political world. Obviously, Trump brings something new to this presidential race but HIllary brings the experience card. For example, she went to Yale law school and was a top student there, she was a former first lady under Bill Clinton’s presidency, she won a seat in the U.S. Senate for New York and has run for president previously, losing to Barack Obama-who turned around and made her Secretary of State (Editorial Board, The Republican). Sure, she has a lot of experience but Trump would have to say “I agree – she’s got experience, but it’s bad experience," he said. “And this country can’t afford to have another four years of that kind of…

I am disgusted that people think that this is exceptable. Hillary Clinton lost the election, yes. Does this give her supporters the justification to march around and act as though they are a bunch of bratty children who didn't get their way? Absolutely not. If Hillary had won, I would have been greatly upset, seeing as if I were old enough I would have voted against her, but I wouldn't have allowed myself to stoop to such levels of doltishness and contempt. You needn't agree with Trump, that's fine, we live in America where we have the freedom of speech, but to disrespect the flag, to disrespect our country because your candidate lost is revolting. I am at a loss for…

Hunting has always been around, even as early as the Prehistoric Era. Men in these times had to hunt to provide food and warmth for their families. Throughout the years hunting has become looked upon negatively by many people in society. In all aspects; for example animal cruelty and gun control. Along with the many people who do not agree with hunting, there is also a great amount of people who think it is a good thing. In my opinion the three main reasons hunting can be looked at positively are it keeps the deer population down, can provide food for a family, and can be known as a sport to many people.…

Being as young as we are alcohol can affects us in more ways than one. It can affect our behaviour, body and emotions, and we can see this in our generation of teenagers. So why is our alcohol consumption legalized to age 18? As well as the effect of alcohol on a teen’s body, it can affect a community in many ways, as they are the people dealing with the commotion of drunken teens. I strongly believe that the legal age for alcohol consumption should be raised from age 18 to 21, this way we could be seeing a big change and improvement in our society.…
