Compare And Contrast Clinton And Donald Trump
Who has Your Vote? When I was first asked to Vote it was an easy choice for me. I was picking Donald Trump. He was a business man that could help America financially and could take us out of the national debt. However, the more I looked at Donald Trump and the way his outlook on things were, I started to notice that maybe he is not a good fit for our president. Based on the way he wants to face the issues of education, foreign policy, and immigration, compared to Hilary Clinton and her way to face the issues it is clear to me now that Hilary Clinton is a better choice for presidential office than Donald Trump. One of the main Policies that Both Donald J. Trump and Hilary Clinton both said they would tackle was education. Both candidates say they will make education more affordable for students. Hilary …show more content…
And by doing so they would have to face a lot of the issues and policies America has today. The issues of; Education, Terrorism, and immigration. Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton are promising to deal with these issues of immigration, education, and foreign policy. However, based on what was said by both, after comparing and contrasting the two: Mr. Trump and Mrs. Clinton both want the same thing for education, they want to make it more affordable for students, however when it comes to Immigration Trump wants to get rid of every illegal in a harsh and irrational way. Meanwhile, Clinton wants to just deport the illegals that are a threat to society. And when it comes to terrorism Mr. Trump wants to ban all Muslim people from entering our country because he feels this will end it. While Hilary wants to prevent it with plans that have prevented it in the past. Because of these factors I believe that Hilary Clinton is the best candidate for the presidency because of her rational thinking and calmness, she portrays the best features that the future President should

Although Hillary and Bernie are both different people. They share a few qualities that made them each similar. Growing up both candidates grew up saying or calling their mother by the same name. Dorothy was first name of each of their mothers and although they have different last names its interesting knowing they had this in common. Another similarity that can be seen is that they both also met their spouse in college. Even though Bernie is no longer married to his wife he met in college its fascinating knowing that they shared that in common. Growing up Hillary was a Republican who was influenced by others around her, but eventually she became Democrat. As we all know Bernie is also a Democrat who was very passionate about his…

Hillary and Trump both had very persuasive speeches, they both used the three appeals very differently, like Hillary used the emotional appeal more and Trump used the logical and the ethical appeal more. They both were very well thought out speeches and they both spoke to the delegates at each convention plus the people that were watching on TV. They both made an a point to at least try and use all three rhetorical appeals to be the most persuasive they can be, but in the end, its up to what people in America see fit. Its up to the Americans to go over everything the candidate believes in and what they say in these speeches to decide who would be the better president. Hillary and Trump both have many reasons why they feel they are the best…

Ben Carson and Donald Trump are both well-known and respected candidates throughout the presidential debates and both have well thought out plans to help this American nation. Of course only one candidate can come out on top and also have the right plans of action to help the American nation. Both Ben Carson and Donald Trump have a set plan on taxes and immigration and how to fix aspects of each of those issues; however, Ben Carson’s plan of action for each of the issues helps build a better structure for this nation and its needs.…

With the elections less than a few months away, political debates always seem to get the best of politicians and their supporters. This year’s debate was nothing short of unexpected controversies. Shortly after the debate held on the night of September 9th, uproar arose all over America after the remarking comments that candidate Hilary Clinton made about Donald Trump and his supporters.…

The President of the United States holds a lot of power and needs to be mature, confident, and have strong moral values. So in this election where both candidates are facing controversies that are doing damage to their campaign, it is hard to decide who is more fit to be the president of the United States especially when it appears that neither candidate is fit to lead this country. Trump has accomplished a lot in his career like his business, his campaign and his policies which would help the economy while improving the country ass a whole. Trump also has several policies that he would like to enact that he would believe would help our country be more efficient and safer, unlike Clinton who wants to restrict some rights and risk…

During the third Presidential Debate both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump both have strong arguments and strong beliefs, but the way Clinton uses rhetorical appeal to catch the attention of her audience is outstanding. She is a career politician and is able to convey her points and views much more effectively than Donald Trump. The three main points that I find to be very interesting are abortion, gun laws and the tax cuts. All three of these topics are very hot topics, now do I agree with everything she says no but she has all the right arguments to win a debate. She keeps her calm better than Trump, that’s not to say she doesn’t show signs of breaking from frustration but compared to him she is much more experienced. Donald Trump sometimes comes off as an…

“Two-thirds of those surveyed in recent polls believe the nation is on the wrong track 80 percent disapprove of the way Congress is doing its job” says Patricia Smith from the article What’s at Stake. Everyone does not like the candidates who is running for president. I believe Trump or Hillary should not become the next president because of their views on taxes, immigration, and terrorism.…

This Presidential ticket is widely considered the worst in United States history. Many people are criticizing almost everything either candidate does. One one side you have a bigoted racist in Trump. On the other side, and marginally considered the better candidate of the two main parties is an untrustworthy, criminal in Clinton. What other options do you have? None, until you you look at the Libertarian candidate, Gary Johnson. I believe that, although unlikely, he has a chance to win. He would be a better president than Trump or Clinton because his stances on economics, immigration, and foreign policy make sense and would improve the U.S security and economy overall.…

Hillary is the democratic candidate and Donald is the republican. Trump’s policies have been very controversial through the process of this year's election. His views on things like immigration and self rights have worried people around the country. Another thing that has been questioned of his is his morals and character. He has been involved in many cases of domestic violence and many cases with women including assault. Is this the type of person we want in charge of our country? The democratic candidate Hillary Clinton has been caught many times lying about past actions. One example is her view on same sex marriage. Years ago she has talked about how she doesn’t believe it is right or should be legalized. What seems like what has happened is she changes her views according to what would get her more votes. These people would not be fit to be the…

She said that her plan was to have students from low-income families (income less than $125,000) not pay tuition fees at in-state four-year public colleges. She wants to make sure that schools invest in providing a better education and that they will be more responsible for the level of education and for controlling the cost of tuition. Other candidates have different opinions on this issue. For example, Gary Johnson does not believe that colleges should be free and that the high cost of college tuition is already balanced with government student loans. Donald Trump also thinks that there shouldn’t be “free education” because eventually, someone will have to pay for the missing tuition, but he will try to lower interest rates and extensions for student loans. Jill Stein’s goal is to guarantee tuition-free, world-class public education from preschool through university, but she has not proposed specific and thorough plans like Hillary Clinton’s. Hillary Clinton’s stance speaks out to me the most because while some students are very smart, they cannot afford the money for college and can’t attend. Some students also aren’t able to pay back the loans in time due to their personal circumstances. Furthermore, this is also very important because I will be applying to colleges in four years and I also want to be given an equal opportunity when I am applying to colleges in California, regardless of my family’s financial situation in the future. I know that other students would also want the same equal chance at going to colleges and pursue their…

This past summer Donald Trump and secretary Hillary Clinton were granted their nominations for president of the united states at their respective conventions, but the race wasn’t over. The candidates still had 3 months to win over the trust and support of the American people. What each candidate believes and stands for should be a big deciding factor for one to use in deciding which candidate to vote for. This current election has me very confused, I am in no way a Trump supporter. It is a sad reality that he is most likely our Republican Nominee. But, I would vote for him.
