Argumentative Essay: Soda In School
(INTRO) I got to say soda is addictive, which is great because I think that Glen Yermo should get a soda machine then, there would be a lot more exciting things to do in school. Such as, raising money for the school to go towards field trips, working for the soda that they want, and still learning that it is good for you. And besides, what kid doesn't like soda. (MEAT) I mean what school doesn't want money? School is basically supposed to make students learn, but in a fun way. And that fun way can be getting awards for learning. So if you get a soda machine then you would motivate them by somehow offering a soda. Almost at every school there are at least 200 students. So if each student gets a soda for a dollar then BAM $200. And all that money would go straight to the school. Money lets us do so many things, such as going to Disneyland or even Knott’s Berry Farm. Money is basically a ticket to fun. Without it, then you can't really do anything besides get stuck with boring things like more work, chores or just staring at things. We kids, do so much studying and tests that we know that we are going to get a good grade on the subject, but what's in it for us? (besides not getting hit by our parents, no just kidding, I hope) ;) One way that you can change our mindset is if you actually give us a purpose, a fun purpose. What you could do is that every time a student wants to get a soda, then they have to answer a question depending on their grade level. Teachers can give the questions after school and a supervisor can give them during recess and lunch. Also, if you see a kid that is paying attention in class, then you can give a coupon for a half priced soda or something like that. Don't give roar ticket, give a
