? Gay marriage has been a critical topic since 1924. Like around the year 2000 the countries America and UK started approving gay marriage even though not everyone agreed with that decision. Homosexuals right now are still fighting for their right to get married to someone of their same sex. According to some articles there is nothing wrong with allowing homosexuals to have the same rights as those who are heterosexuals. Every individual person should have equal rights, regardless of there sexuality. Gay marriage should be legalized in all states and countries as it has been held off for to long. There are plenty of reasons why homosexuals feel that they want to be married legally. One of the important reasons is that they want to legally show their love to each other by having a marriage license. They are in love and want to spend their lives with a person of their same sex but in order to do that officially they need the law to approve. There is no true reason why two people cannot get married because of their sexuality. Like for example if a man and woman get to marry because they love each, other why shouldn’t homosexuals, who are in love as well as heterosexual people. However, people may argue that there are other ways for the same sex couple to be together without getting married. One of the option would be by going through a civil union, even though the civil unions and marriages are totally two different things. Apart from that, homosexual couples still wouldn’t have the freedom they want or the choice to go where ever they want to have a civil union.
