Are Angels Believing In The Tooth Fairy?
Believing In Angels
Likely, you do not believe in the “Tooth Fairy” or the existence of “Leprechauns.” And the reason is: there is no factual basis for believing in such fairy-tale characters.
“Angels” are neither seen nor heard; yet, the Christian believes in them simply because the Bible informs us of their existence. Our faith in the reliability of the Bible is the basis of our faith in the unseen.
The fascination of angels is rather common; however, all we know and can know about them is revealed in the Bible. Although, the meaning of the word “angel” in the original language is “one who brings a message,” it commonly refers to created (Psalms 148:5), heavenly beings who are lower than God (Hebrews 1:6), yet above humanity. Traditionally, leprechauns are tall fairies and often appear to humans as an old man – much different from the modern view of a small, childlike fairy in a green suit. As legend holds, Leprechauns love to collect gold, which they store in a pot and hide at the end of a rainbow. The Pookas are a certain type of fairy- one bent on creating havoc in the mortal world. The Pooka appeared at night across rural Ireland and the seaboard. On a good day, the Pooka would cause destruction on a farm- tearing down fences and disrupting the animals. On a bad day, the Pooka would stand outside the farmhouse and call the people outside by name. If anyone came out, the Pooka would carry them away. The Pookas also loved to mess with the ships pulling away from Ireland, and were blamed for many shipwrecks along the rocky coast.…

John never, like the other Evangelists, uses the single verily, and like the single word in the Synopsis’s, it is used only by Christ. “Open” is the perfect participle. The participle signifies standing open, and is used in the story of Stephen’s martyrdom, Acts 7: 56 compare to Isaiah. 64:50. The image presented to the true Israelite is drawn from the history of his ancestor Jacob (Genesis 28: 12). The “Angels” used with the exception of (John 12: 29 and John 20: 13), John does not use the word “angel” elsewhere in the Gospel or in the Epistles, and does not refer to their being or ministry. Trench (“Studies in the Gospels”) cites a beautiful passage of Plato as suggestive of Lord’s words. Plato is speaking of love. “He is a great spirit, and like all spirits he is intermediate between the divine and the mortal. He interprets between gods and men, conveying to the gods the prayers and sacrifices of men, and to men the commands and replies of the gods, he is the mediator who spans the chasm which divides them, and in him all is bound together, and through him the acts of the prophet and the priest, their sacrifices mysteries and charms not with all prophets and incantation find their way. For God mingles not with man, but through Love all the intercourse and speech of God with man, whether awake or asleep, is carried on” ( “ Symposium,” 203). “Son of man” we can see on Luke 6: 22. Justin Martyr (100 - 165 AD) wrote, “But if this idea take possession of some one that if we acknowledge God as our helper, we should not, as we say, be oppressed and persecuted by the wicked; this, too, I will solve. God, when He had made the whole world, and subjected things earthly to man, and arranged the heavenly elements for the increase of fruits and rotation of the seasons, and appointed this divine law--for these things also He evidently made for man--committed the care of men and of all things under heaven to angels whom He appointed over them. But the angels transgressed this appointment. and were captivated by love of women, and begat children who are those that are called demons; and besides, they afterwards subdued the human race…

    I. The Word angel in English as we know it is angel. Well the word comes from the Greek word. Angelo means messenger. The Hebrew word means Malak which can also mean messenger. Malachi in the bible got his name from the word Malak so that his name has a meaning of messenger or angel. This fact really interests me because I was going to name my son Malachi; I really wish I would have named him Malachi now that I have learned this. I have discovered in the Old Testament theology included a belief in angels. In haven there was certain spiritual intelligences, they worked for God just like they were ministers of His will. I foswund lots of verses that relate the topic of angles to theology. One of them is Matthew 11;30, I like it because it gives me a vivid description of angels. Angels are purely spiritual or bodiless. Matthew 11;30.…

The term angel means messenger. Angels are of a divine hierarchy who marked witness of creation by God (KJV, Job 38: 4-7). KJV, Colossians 1:16 prove that angels are beings fashioned by God thus stating, "For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible." These entities are spiritual in nature and do not own the limitations of human flesh (Davidson, 2012).…

Muslims also believe in the angels of Allah or the Mala’ika. They were created by God, to worship him, keep order in the universe and to deliver his important messages. Angels do not have free will as their duty is to simply obey the command of God, and carry out their designated tasks. Each person also has two angels which are responsible for recording their deeds. Although unable to be seen by the naked eye, they are capable of transforming into human form. For example, the angel Gabriel is recognised by Muslims as delivering the Qur’an to Muhammad.…
