World view is described as your core framework by which you interpret and comprehend everything. I will be explaining my view on its components of metaphysics, anthropology, epistemology, axiology, and chronology. My worldview has come to be by my experiences I've had in my 25 years with family, friends, and opportunities and events life has given me.…
4. The Question of Morality – The Christian worldview accounts for man’s shortcomings and need for morality and forgiveness in Romans 3:23. Our morality is reduced to a very basic principle in John 13:34 when Jesus teaches that we should love one another. This concept of morality is very simple but it offers a concise answer to the question of morality from a Christian worldview.…
A worldview is how an individual looks at the world through their own lenses in determining how they see the things. A Christian worldview understands the nature of the world as well as the nature of humanity. According to Entwistle (2010), a Christian worldview should be encouraging to us in applying our abilities towards humane and Godly ends, and to not misuse powers in a direction towards sinful ends. We tend to think of worldviews favorably in answering questions about life and life's situations according to our most important situations.…
A worldview is how a person or group of people sees the world as a whole. It is how people use their brain to make sense of the world they live in and how they respond to it. How people see the world whether it be good or bad is critical in how they act and live their lives. Individual worldviews make up group worldviews, but each individual has a unique footprint on how they view the world through their personal prescriptive lens. These lenses together form a telescope that helps people see past the images in their mirrors “which may appear closer” than they originally are. Worldviews are only assumptions about life and can easily be influenced or manipulated by worldly forces and stimulants.…
A Christian worldview is defined as a comprehensive conception of the world from a specific standpoint. It is the framework of ideas and beliefs through which a Christian individual, group, or culture interprets and interacts with the world. It is used to form opinions about humanity: purpose in life, duties in the world, responsibilities to family, interpretation of the truth, social issues, and much more. Different denominations of Christianity have varying viewpoints, but each viewpoint explores all of these things and more, guided by the light that is shed upon them by the Bible. A worldview is the basis for making daily decisions. It is formed by our upbringing, education, the culture we live in, and the…
I have always known throughout my whole life that I am a Christian, but I never actually new just how important it is to have and know my Worldview. I have also known that there were more Worldviews than the Christian Worldview, but I never knew how different their beliefs were. I grew up in a Baptist church and about 2 years ago I began exploring the Jehovah’s Witness, or JW religion; however, I am still part of the Christian Worldview because I believe in God as my creator. Even though I knew that God was my creator, I never believed everything that I learned from the Baptists version of the Holy Bible. When I started reading the New World Translation I knew that this was what I believed and I began living my life according to the ethics and morals from this version of the Bible. The three components that make up my Worldview are ultimate reality, human nature, and ethics because they shaped my thoughts, experiences, education, and life decisions.…
Worldview of identity is that all humans are made in the likeness and the image of God. (Genesis 9:6) As for humans being more important than animals; yes, God tells us to reign over all living creatures. (Genesis 1:28)…
The simple definition of worldview is ones philosophy of life or what ones conception of the world is. It is really how we interpret the world around us. This can be developed by the collection of values and beliefs held by the individual or group.…

How a person views the world around them, their worldview, is shaped by their beliefs on the ideas of God, humanity, what truth is, and life’s purpose. Personally, my beliefs in these things are all consistent with a Christian worldview. I believe that God is the almighty creator that is kind, loving, understanding, patient, and very tolerant. I also believe that a human being is defined as a form of God because He created us in His image and that after one dies they either go to Heaven or Hell depending on the life they lived. I believe that the nature of the universe and everything in it was created by God and I believe that things that are of God, such as love and care, are all right and things that are not, like stealing, killing, and adultery, wrong. I know that every person was put on this earth with a God given purpose. My commitments to God, family, friends, and school are consistent with a Christian worldview and they impact my life by growing and shaping me into the person I have become today.…
Samovar and Porter (2004) describe world view as an “overarching philosophy or conception of the world”. I agree with this, and I think that is a summary of what I believe “world-view”to be. I believe “world-view” is how we look at the world, how we make sense of all that we believe to be real. Everyone has a “world-view”, but they are may not always be aware of it. It is important to think about others “world views” because this will help in becoming aware of our own.…
A world view can be defined as the way the world is understood: how it is supposed to work, why it works the way it does, and what values are essential in the world community.…
A worldview is how a person see the world based on their beliefs, emotions, personal experiences, and society. It shapes the decisions you make and the values you hold. Furthermore, it is the foundation of one's judgment that affects what he believes about God, behavior, decision making, judgement, moral, opinions, values, social structure, politics, and educational requirements. Each individual has a different worldview, just like the people who have different religions.…
A worldview is a set of beliefs each person has that influences what they believe about the world, humans, and God. To determine a person’s worldview, examine their actions and beliefs. If someone believes that world peace should be everyone’s goal, they have already decided that people can be perfect. When someone believes that all gay people should be slaughtered, they believe that being gay is worse than other wrong things. Perhaps someone believes that if we all work together, we can put an end to bullying. Clearly, they believe that people will no longer have rude thoughts towards others if certain steps are taken. A person can develop a worldview in many ways. Maybe a person got their worldview from their parents, friends, or religion. Additionally, teachers and councelors have an impact on the worldview of their students. No matter where they got their ideas or what they are, each person has a worldview.…
worldviews such as Islam cover all aspects of life including the personal, social, economic, political, cultural, civilization besides dealing with spiritual, moral, and Aqidah issues. But there are other worldviews which focus only on spiritual, material, social, or economic aspects of human life. Any worldview should be able to answer the ultimate questions not necessary correct answers but at least consistent…
