The article explains that behavior change can be achieved through usage of more human methods such as coping skills, reinforcement, and reward systems to create change. This article summarizes developmental, cognitive and psychological steps that a person goes through where behavior change is unavoidable and describes how as children we gain and develop the tools necessary for changing over long periods of time versus short periods of time.
