Animal Farm Letter To my fellow comrades
Letter: Animal Farm
To my fellow comrades, It is with great sadness to inform you that Boxer is no longer with us. He was hard working and honest. He was loved dearly by his peers and epically by Benjamin, "I'm sorry for his passing Benjamin".
Today we lost a very important member of our community. As you are aware, comrade Boxer collapsed while building the wind mill. He was struggling. In great haste we called the veterinary van to pick him up to seek treatment for him as soon as possible. He was rushed to surgery as soon as he arrived at the hospital. Boxer was put under general anaesthetic but his heart was weak and unfortunately he never woke up. I understand one of you saw a slaughter house symbol on the van but let me reassure you that the van now belongs to the vet. They have owned it since the slaughter house was closed down but they were yet to paint over it.
In Boxers last few breaths he said 'long live animal farm and long live Napoleon'. In Boxers name tomorrow night I am hosting a banquet were all animals are welcome.
In other news the wind mill will open next week, I will be there for the opening if anything happens to go wrong there will be strict fines and penalties for the animal responsible. We pigs have worked hard for this so we are giving ourselves a 3 week holiday.
In some exciting news other farms have joined our revolution and forced the humans out of the farms, Squiler and I will be making visits to these farms to make sure that the other pigs have everything in order and to help them make a constitution similar to ours, so we can start trading with them.
Yours truly

As a quiet, chubby, ten year-old boy, I enrolled in the Aces 4-H club. In January of 2009, my mind raced with excitement as our fair pigs birthed from their mothers. That January, venturing to my aunt and uncle’s farm, just northwest of Petersburg, became a constant weekend affair. Following my uncle Brad and Cousin Brett around, I watched and helped with the daily tasks on the farm, along with giving our fair pigs Baytril, Iron, and Spectoguard shots. In addition to the shots, I observed…

As their life continues Napoleon becomes blinded by power and begins to break all his promises thinking only about himself, The farm then begins to transform into the dreadful past they fought so hard to escaped, but no one does anything about it. George Orwell suggests that the inaction of animals such as Boxer and Benjamin against Napoleon's leadership is partly at fault for his rise to power. Some of these inactions include the strength of the horses being put to waste as well as the miss use of the horse's respect when it could easily help convince the other animals against Napoleon. One of the biggest inactions would be Benjamin’s decision to hide the truth from the others when he is the only one who knows it. But the horses cannot be blamed for everything, as the pigs are very good at manipulation and misleading the others. If Boxer and other animals could only see what was right in front of them there may have been hope for Napoleon's…

With the development of the farm, he became the Farm’s main worker, he harvested the most, he carried the most, worked longer ,carried all the stones up and down the windmill during construction. Although he did most of the work the pigs never appreciated him they just used him without respect. After his fall from the windmill, he realized that he was being used, he had decided to work less, and be the first animal on Animal Farm to retire on his twelfth birthday. Unfortunately, the pigs had brought him to his death. The pigs have said that they were sending Boxer to the hospital, but it turned out that the pigs were lying and poor Boxer was sent to the knacker. The pigs never admitted it, they had said that Boxer had died in the hospital. Some animals believed the pigs and some didn’t, but Benjamin and Clover were certain that miserable Boxer had died at the knacker’s. Boxer is a very admirable and significant character in the book, because he had the heart of the other animals, and even the pigs and their arrogance had been supported by the foolishness of Boxer. Additionally, he was the main worker on the farm, he was a…

Boxer had a very positive impact on the other animals, as well as a negative impact on them. He influenced many of the animals to work and try harder. Boxer was a good role model on how to persevere, but he was lacking in intellect. He was extremely gullible and always followed Napoleon’s demands. This led the others to believe Napoleon’s ways too, because the big, strong Boxer did.…

In the movie, I began to see examples of collectivism and individualism. For instance, in collectivism the group comes before the individual. The “experts” do all the thinking for the people. Which in this case, the pigs, Napoleon and snowball were the experts. They made the rules that the farm animals had to abide: all animals were equal, no animal shall be killed by another, no sleeping on beds or drinking alcohol ect. As the revolution went on, the animals helped one another, like we as people do in the everyday world. Napoleon soon felt as if snowball was getting in the way of his dictatorship and had him killed. Napoleon now became the leader, and even spread the word to other farms so other pigs could start the same revolution. The weaker animals were sacrificed the laws that were set soon changed, the farm animals became more and more like slaves , they ate less, worked dawn to dusk and no longer were equal. The law now was some animals were equal but some more than others. While the farm animals did all the hard work, the pigs got to sit back, relax and eat all the food for themselves. With that said, Collectivism is a lot like communism, the pigs had control of the farm animals, made the laws, even everything the farm animals made soon belonged to the pigs. It’s like how the world is today, part of the hard earned money and things we make go to the government. The government and the corporations are the pigs.…

While education can be truly remarkable and can be considered a gift, it can be susceptible to manipulation by corrupt officials and leaders. Many leaders use education as a method of spreading their opinions, which ultimately can result in biased beliefs. An example of this use of education is evident in the novel Animal Farm by George Orwell. The pigs in Animal Farm use education to assert their control over the other animals by uniting the animals with it, by using it to appear compassionate to the other animals, and by using education as a means of gathering further power and benefits.…
