Andrew O Hagan In Defense Of Technology Essay
For many years, some people have believed that there should be a limit to technology use. The author Nick Romeo highlights the main ideas of his article he published on how technology is developing to affect individual’s intelligence. He indicated that at many times people rely on technology to assist them with numerous things throughout their daily routines and that the more we use it the more we get more it becomes addicting. Other people think that technology is actually building us to a smart path and that it saves much time and effort. The author, Andrew O’Hagan has addressed in his article “In Defense of Technology” that technology has made life much simpler and that it had no harm at all. I think that technology has its advantages and I also recommend to be cautious with its use.

In the article In Defense of Technology wrote by the author Andrew O’Hagan believes the opposite. That technology has actually made a huge improvement in our lives. He argues that life would be much difficult without its use. We depend on technology at many times because it does many beneficial things for us and not even mentioning time saving. It benefits us in great ways like collecting information, socializing and much more, but we mostly we use it to save time. Tech has never been harmful to any human at any point in time O’Hagan quotes, “Technology is not doing what the sci-fi writers warned it might; it’s not turning us into digits or people that hate community, instead of the opposite.” It is helping our communities in ways like recycling, entertainment, safety and much more. When an individual can sit in their house relaxed and putting in an order on the internet that’s going to arrive at their house the next day, compared to the old days it’s a miracle how it improved this much.
