Analysis Of Tino's Delicatessen
On February 27, 2018, my friend and I went to Tino's Delicatessen on Arthur Ave. Tino’s Delicatessen is an Italian deli, that sells prepared food, soup, and sandwiches along with imported Italian products. Upon entering, the deli is spacious, yet filled with Italian products and Italian décor. Hung on the walls are photos of generations of the Paciullo family, pots and pans, and heritage-related décor. A singular wall of the establishment is reserved for the various stock of kinds of pasta, sauces, beans, and other imported food products. Customers are welcome to pick and touch different products that are lined against the wall and along the display refrigerator. The third sensation the customer experiences in Tino’s is hearing the chatter …show more content…
Full of different flavors and textures the Isabella, leaves customers feeling adequately satisfied. If the customer eats in Tino’s they have various seating available. Most tables are wooden family style tables with bench seating, where various customers can sit next to one another. However, there are mosaic style tables for two people, that provide a touch of color. In sitting down and eating at Tino’s the customer experiences the sensation of touch. The aged wood and the small pieces of stone in the mosaic create a surface that is smooth but uneven. Tino’s is regarded as an authentic Italian restaurant and market, with a customer base that includes Fordham students, tourists, and locals. To maintain and increase its popularity and good rating, Tino’s could make small adjustments. The customer experience is important in the restaurant business because there is so much competition in where the customer eats. If the customer is satisfied not only will they return, but they will spread the good word of mouth. Fortunately, Tino’s provides a great atmosphere, however, it could it could improve the customer …show more content…
Leaving more room for the tourist-customers to walk around and see the other imported packaged products, enhancing their authentic Italian market experience. A third change could be having an employee take the time to talk to the customers. Treating every customer like they are a regular, adds to the experience of visiting a small, family Italian deli. From more conversation, the customer will feel appreciative and hear recommendations from an employee that could lend them to purchasing a product or trying a new menu item. The change could be as small as having the manager go around the seating areas and hearing how the customer feels. Finally, Tino’s could provide samples of a product to their customers. Whether it’s a cube of cheese or a piece of an Italian cookie, customers would enjoy tasting a product. Offering this free sample, helps the customer try one of the many products, which they may have never thought to purchase. Tino’s Delicatessen is doing a great job in creating an authentic and welcoming Italian deli experience. Tino’s Deli faces the challenge of making sure both restaurant and retail patrons are satisfied with their customer

The clattering of plates and the clicking of heels on a tile floor are the white noise of the restaurant. Kitchen partners rush to get the next salad ready, the next steak cooking. The expeditors keep the restaurant working smoothly, the source of communication between the front of the house and the kitchen. A business partner shouts “Corner!” as she rounds the bend between the kitchen and the hallway leading to the general area of the restaurant. Two servers see each other for the first time during their shift and exchange a quick “How are you?” without stopping long enough to hear the reply of their co-worker. A manager explains the goals of the evening to a group of distracted employees in the pass-through, watching a rush of customers enter through the double glass doors. The restaurant lifestyle is a unique discourse with success resulting from the quality of customer service and understanding the value of time-saving efficiency.…

    Buca Di Beppo Review

For me personally, I love Italian food because of how much Italian’s appreciate the dinner table. What I mean by “appreciating the dinner table” is how Italians take time to cherish the food but also interact with friends and family while you enjoy the authentic meals. Anyone who walks into Buca di Beppo can begin to feel the authenticity of the restaurant because they do a tremendous job escorting customers to their seat and sharing their history that allows you to see why this restaurant has been around for so many years. When you com to the restaurant when its not busy a waiter or a waitress usually escorts customers to their seat by going on a mini tour around the restaurant walking through the kitchen, around the bar and to their seat. I loved the fact that they walk you through the kitchen to show how they use fresh ingredients and how clean and organized their kitchen is. During this tour it really showed the distinct features of an Italian restaurant. Walking through the restaurant with hundreds of framed pictures across the walls of families and celebrities really made the place feel “homey” and “lively”. This certainly reassured me that my food was going to be fresh.…

Kudler Fine Foods is an upscale specialty food store offering its customers the best in imported and domestic fare. The founder and owner Kathy Kudler had a vision for the business she wanted to develop because she found relief from the stress of working as vice-president of marketing for a large defense contractor by cooking gourmet foods. Realizing that it was not easy to find the necessary ingredients, Kathy noticed there was a business opportunity that she could capitalize on. Kudler’s mission is to provide customers with a pleasing shopping outing. Kudler wants their customers to understand that the products sold at their stores are nothing less than what Kathy Kudler uses in her own home. The goal is to provide customers with the best service by going “to extensive lengths to assure that Kudler Fine Foods is the purveyor of choice for customers aspiring to purchase the finest epicurean delights” (Kudler Fine Foods, About, 2011, para. 3,). The value that Kudler Fine Foods wants to instill in the company is to treat the customer’s shopping experience like Kathy would treat her own by shopping the world for the best to provide the products not offered in other stores. Kudler is highly selective in regard to the team members. The goal of Kudler Fine Foods is to expand and…

When expanding into another country or a new country there are differences in the way meals are prepared and what the culture as a whole prefers as far as ingredients and overall taste. In our study one of the hypotheses is that in order to be successful in the Brazilian market we will need to add more fresh ingredients to our meals as well as adding spices or other ingredients that are common in Brazilian menus. Our second hypothesis is that our overall atmosphere including décor and music will need to be changed according to the Latin culture. We want our patrons to feel at home in our restaurants and our food to be to their liking so that they will return day after day.…

During the 1950s, two immigrant Italian brothers, Primo and Secondo are trying to face the difficulties of running a restaurant. Primo is a master chef who serves culinary delights every night. The only problem is that frequently there is no one to serve food to. The two brothers are lucky if anyone even shows up to eat, since the diners all expect standard Italian-American food and not gourmet fare. When someone does decide to dine at their restaurant, Paradise, Secondo is forced to cope with his brother's artistic temperament. When one woman orders risotto and is dismayed that it doesn't come with spaghetti, she orders it on the side; Secondo goes into the kitchen to ask Primo to prepare a side of spaghetti. Instead of preparing it Primo…
