Part 1 Learning from the meetings with my mentor
1.1 Preparation
My mentor Mr. Nageb ,he is a caring supervisor, at the same time, he is also very strict on my ACCA studies and the Research And Analysis Project (RAP).
I had acquired extensive knowledge on financial and business analysis from ACCA studies; I believe I will benefit tremendously from topic 8 “the business and financial performance of an organization over a three year period ”. As I aspire to be a chief finance officer in the private education industry, I chose Raffles Education Group
(REG), a Public Listed Company on the Singapore Exchange as my research organization I gathered information on
REG from its website and newspaper to gain preliminary understanding.
Beside these preparations, I read Oxford Brookes
University BSc Hons in
Applied Accounting, RAP Information pack and highlighted the important parts for discussions with my mentor during the meeting s.
