The views on the American Dream is not measured on how much we have, but how we compare it to society. Today people described the American dream in a different way then when they had it during the depression. In The times of the depression most people just wanted social order, to be able to do their best. However, people are still willing to get up and work hard for what they want. Some people are willing to try to attain that goal by going to college, hard work, and sacrifice. Adults that do not try to better themselves, make it harder for their children to strive.
