Complete the Ambiguous Figures Activity at the My Psyc Lab website and answer the following questions. (1 point for each question)
1. What was the purpose of the experiment? The purpose of this experiment was to test our perception twice by viewing ambiguous pictures. That reflects our first response in a particular way.
2. Describe the experimental procedure. In this experiment I was presented by 14 trials in which I had to identify what I see in an ambiguous figure. Each trial contained several pictures presented one by one, followed by the test question about my perception of those multiple ambiguous figures. Once the ambiguous figure stopped there was a test question to choose between several options to describe what in my opinion the right answer as I perceive. Once I completed all 14 trials, the data was accumulated and presented in a graph comparing global views with myself.
3. Results:
a. What results did you obtain from your own responses? (Please give percentages; graphs are not required.). 1)50% me , 2)1st viewing 57% , 3) 2nd viewing 42.9

4. What was the dependent variable in this experiment? Perception set is a dependent variable that describes how we interact and respond to the outside world. Our past experience changes our perceptions and expectations day by day depending on stimulus.
5. What was the independent variable in this experiment? Ambiguous figures are the stimuli and that is why they are independent variable because they can be interpreted and perceived in many different ways.
6. Did your overall results show that you were influenced by the primes? Yes, the more I processed pictures the later viewing got better but then too quickly dropped the perception of correct view.
