Alternative Hypothesis
In the first research hypothesis, the alternative hypothesis (H1) hypothesized that internalized racism regress significantly on violence, even when accounting for the effect of Self-attitude, uncomfortable with neighborhood and Age. In other side the Null hypothesis (H0(1)) hypothesized that internalized racism do not regress significantly on violence, even when accounting for the effect of Self-attitude, uncomfortable with neighborhood and Age. The study reject the Null hypothesis. To test this hypothesis, the study considerd the COIV variable unstandradize regression cofficent and standard error to calcuate the t-value. The t value is calculated by dividing the unstandardized cofficient by standardized error due to unstandardized coffiecient. …show more content…
The study fail to reject the Null hypothesis. To test this hypothesis, calculate the ratio of regression sum sqaure (RSS) and total sum square (TSS) values. TSS value includes both regression sum square value which is the values from the regression model and the residual sum square values which is the values not explain by the regression model. Measuring the amount of regression sum square values or percentage in TSS is critical to know how much percent of all independent values present in the TSS. Mathimatically, to calculate the percentage of values explain by the regression model equals to RSS divide by TSS. In statistics, the RSS/TSS is reperesent by R2. Table-5 provides R2 value which is equals to 0.136 or 13.6%. In conclusion, 13.6% of the variance in the internalized racism can be expalined by the cummulative of Self-attitude, uncomfortable with neighborhood and Age, which is very low percentage to support all independent varaibles in expalining the dependent variable (IR), so the study conclude to fail to reject the null hypothesis hypothsizing that …show more content…
In this study of additive (A) and interactive (I) model have the same adjusted R2 (R2I.Adj= R2A.Adj) which is equals to 0.018. In the FChange equation, the numerator is the difference of the Adjusted R2 or [(R2I.Adj – R2A.Adj)]. Since both R2 have the same value the FChange (I-A) value is zero. It indicates that there is no significant effect on the additive model due to the interaction of violence and age. In conclusion, FChange value is zero, so the study conclude to fail to reject the null hypothesis hypothesized that violence has no significant interactive effect on internalized racism when it interact with
