Adaptive Thinking Process Analysis
An Adaptable leader possess a variety of cognitive techniques and skills to enable strategic thought process. These strategic processes included Critical Thinking, Creative Thinking, Innovative Thinking, Adaptive Thinking, Reflective Thinking, Analytical Thinking Future Thinking, Systems Thinking, and Synthesis. Of all the mentioned strategic thinking processes, I believe that adaptive thinking is the most important. I will now explain why adaptive thinking is important and how this concept will be applied to my leadership development.
Adaptive thinking describes the capacity to address a problem or situation as it changes and evolves. During this process of thinking, individuals possess the ability to make adjustments to their advantage or create a better outcome by minimizing any second and third order effect caused by the disruption. The ability to grasp adaptive thinking is no easy feat. It often requires the individual to be in challenging environments and stressful situations. This thought process must be mastered

I will help develop my subordinates adaptive thinking by not being as active and allowing them to adapt and present a plan of action. This will be essential to their individual and professional growth. Furthermore, this insight will have a direct impact amongst my peers. I will provide them with the insight needed during times of failures in physical security by recommending a way of head with the lowest impact to their respective flights. As we see this concept impacts of levels to include immediate supervisors. My being able to apply adaptive thinking at all levels will allow my supervision to take a less active approach. This development of trust helps alleviate the need to continuously control or monitor and eventually helps hone adaptive and future thinking as needed for my professional
