CBS Bentley Summer 2014 Program Information for Students
Dates – Classes start on Monday 6 January 2014 and end on Wednesday 5 February 2014.
For all units except for Business Capstone 301, there are 2 X 4 hour classes per week for 4.5 weeks (36 hours of teaching). Classes are paired Monday/Thursday or Tuesday/Friday and run either 8am to 12 noon, 12 noon to 4pm or 4pm to 8pm. Classes are running on Monday 27 January (Australia Day Public Holiday). Attendance at all classes is mandatory and arriving late may result in exclusion from classes. If this happens, there is no guarantee of a fee refund. Business Capstone 301 – This is the only summer unit that cannot be enrolled online.

This unit should be

studied in a student’s last semester so enrolments are restricted for this unit to those students who after Semester
2, 2013 have 6 or less units to complete (completing their course after summer or summer + semester 1, 2014).
Classes for Business Capstone 301 over summer are different to the other units. There will be 3 X 2 hour classes per week (on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays) for 5 weeks. Attendance at all classes is mandatory.
To request to be enrolled into this unit for summer, send an email to business@cbs.curtin.edu.au from your official student email account requesting to be enrolled for summer. Put as the email subject “CAPSTONE SUMMER
ENROLMENT” and include your student number, full name and course of study (this email can be sent anytime from now). Please DO NOT include any class preferences in your email as they will not be considered. Students who are successful in gaining a place in the unit will be able to classlist themselves online after Monday 2 December at 9am.
We will advise students by 29 November whether they have been successful in gaining a place in the unit for summer. Note this is the only unit you can enrol by email, all other units must be enrolled online. PLEASE SEND
YOUR EMAIL ASAP BECAUSE PLACES ARE LIMITED IN
