ACQC Format: What I Learned In My Class
Throughout my freshman year at ACIT, I have learned a lot about myself. In the beginning of the year, I was a horrible writer and didn't enjoy writing at all. Now, we are at the end of the year and I think I’m a somewhat decent writer and I actually don't mind writing as much. After I was taught how to use ACQC format, I believe my paragraphs are more developed and not filled with random things that would get me through my essay. I also now know it’s good to include a quote in your paragraphs and make sure to imbed them so it sounds better. In 8th grade, all of our essays had to be five paragraphs, but as I entered high school I learned it is better to have just enough paragraphs to get your point across. In high school, I have definitely have gotten some harsh criticism about my grammar,vocabulary and spelling, but I hope that throughout my years here at ACIT my grammar, vocabulary, and spelling will improve and make me a better writer.

I wasn't so proud about my english grade this year and I know I could have worked harder, but I have always struggled in english. This year taught me not to procrastinate and write an essay the night before it’s due, don’t just read the summaries online when you're told to read a book, and to take time doing your work. I was most definitely proud of my “Where I’m from Poem,” this was our first piece of writing. It described me and my family and where we are from without saying our addresses. When I first got the assignment, I really had to think where I was from besides from 5506 Atlantic Ave. I think that my hardest piece of writing this year, was my dental research
