Eva Braun was the 40 hour wife of Adolf Hitler. She was born February 6th, 1912. She was born 23 years younger than Adolf. She became acquainted with Adolf Hitler in Munich, Germany as a 17 year old model and what some would call a secretary to a famous photographer. He explained her as his muse. Heinrich Hoffmann, the official photographer of the Nazi party. Eva attended a catholic school for her years, and studied for a year at Convent of the English Sisters. she was said to have made mediocre grades and an above average sports performance.
Eva was in competition for quite some time with Geli Raubal, Hitlers half-niece. Hitler was said to have truly loved Geli and she and Adolf lived together in an apartment.Geli was kept on a “tight leash” by her uncle. Where ever she wanted to go, someone hitler trusted and was close to, must have accompanied her along. Hitler found out that Geli was having an affair with her servant and even though Geli and Hitler were not in a relationship, Hitler forced an end to it. This sparks even more questions, such as if Eva kept these secrets from adolf about her religion, and if Hitler and Eva’s suicides could’ve had something to do with her keeping secrets. If she kept this secret from him, could she have been a spy from the jews that completed the ultimate task? It is said in research of today that Eva’s background was questioned more than just once. The irony of the Aryan society’s specific blonde hair and blue eyed nation was contradicted when he dated a woman that didn't fit his Aryan ideas and plans. Was he ever really in love with Eva Braun or was she just the one he chose for

An historian who supports the first perspective is Steven Bach. In ‘The life and work of Leni Riefenstahl’ he argues that Riefenstahl was obsessed with her career and moulding her image, and that these things are the keys to understanding her behaviour throughout her life. He believes she knew more about Nazism than she would have liked people to believe.…

The application of a “label” to Eva designates her as a minority, separating her from the general population. The “label” also removes her name, instead designating her with a number, separating her from her own identity in an act of dehumanisation. This contrasts partially with the encounter wither the Nazi border guard in Act I, who draws a “star of David” on her label, thus joining her to the Jewish community. Although it gives her a social category, it robs her of her individuality, and showcases the prejudice and stereotyping leading towards to Holocaust.…

Since Nazi officials had burned Adolf Hitler's body and disposed of the remains at an unknown site just before the Russians took Berlin, it was important to present other evidence of Hitler's demise. In spite of announcements that Hitler was dead, there were widespread fears and some hopes that he was still alive. Drawing upon interrogations he and other officials conducted, Trevor-Roper clearly described how Hitler and his mistress Eva Braun came to commit suicide on April 30, 1945, in a private room of his fortified underground bunker in Berlin. Trevor-Roper also showed how Hitler's last days were the culmination of growing dissolution of the Nazi regime in the last years of the war, with administrative chaos and bitter personal animosities among top Nazi…

Eva Mozes Kor was a twin. Her and her twin were both Auschwitz survivors. The main point in this film is that forgiving someone is good for you. Eva and her twin were separated from their family right as they arrived to the camp. Not only did they have to work, but because they were twins they got sent through several tests and experiments. Eva saw bodies and didn’t let herself think that was going to be her. She refused to let herself or her sister die. She said that if she died through Dr. Mengele’s experiments, then he would win, she didn’t let him. Eva and her twin got injected with something that affected their bodies and made them very ill. After Eva’s injection, Dr. Mengele said she had about two weeks. But that didn’t stop Eva. Towards the end of the two weeks she found herself crawling on the floor searching for some water to drink, telling herself, “Im not going to die.” She didn’t. The war ended and they got saved. Eva felt as if she was more her twins mother than her sister because she was always taking care of her. Later on, Eva’s sister had a serious problem, her kidneys had not grown. They were the same size as a ten year old’s. After there was no more Eva or the doctors could do she passed away. Eva began looking for answers. What was the injection that caused her sisters kidneys to stop growing? How could someone do this to a child? The answers weren’t ever found. Eva couldn’t find any records of anything Mengele had done. She did find a German doctor that was in Auschwitz at the time. The fear of having a conversation with the doctor, the German doctor, was bad. It turned out that the doctor was very nice and respectful to Eva. He had no answers but knew that all of Mengele’s experiments were very private. She felt the need to forgive this doctor as a Jew, for all that he has done in the past. Eva was asked by a reporter if she thinks, since she forgave this doctor, she can forgive Dr.…

Josef Mengele was the most well known doctor during the Holocaust because of all the inhumane human experiments he performed. As a doctor at Auschwitz, he was ranked as a chief officer. As a doctor, he conducted many experiments. These experiments lead to his fascination with twins, how the body reacts to sterilization, and how the body reacts in freezing cold weather. Josef Mengele was born on March 16, 1911 in Gunzburg, Germany and died February 7, 1979 in Bertioga, Brazil at the age of 67.…

She is also described as “always dressed in white” (152) and looking like “something almost divine” (152) characterizing her as almost angelic and equating her description with Jesus’. As the play progresses, Eva learns English and speaks it almost fluently. However, she often speaks German when she’s feeling upset. For instance, on page 37, Lil is unhappy with Eva after returning late home from school. Lil lectures her, but Eva will only reply in German. This demonstrates to the audience how Eva is comforted by the language; it may remind her of her past she longs to relive. “Don’t hide…

Eva starts off by calling her biological mother 'mutti' which shows that she considers her mother a very reliable, strong and important person in her life. This shows that Eva respects her mother and loves her mother. However towards the end of play Eva refers to her mother as that 'German woman'. This instantly shows us the audience that Eva does not consider Helga her mother anymore and is just a stranger she use to know. Eva goes further than that and proves the point to use the audience that she doesn't consider her someone important to remember in her life as she isn't sure 'she had lived her' which automatically makes us now that the relationship between Helga and Eva is no more and that it wasn't as strong as they thought as does not think she is significant.…

An immediate strong indication of Eva’s identity, when she first arrives in England at the beginning of Act One, Scene Two, is her German language. The language is noticed when an English officer speaks to Eva. Despite the officer speaking to her in English, she replies in German, she does this because she barely understands English. “I’m sorry, love. I can’t understand a word you’re saying.” The officer tells her. This shows how Eva is instantly alienated from England on her arrival. It also illustrates authority the officer has over Eva.…
