9/11 Reaction Paper
September 11, 2001 was the most tragic event ever to happen in history. Killing thousands of people as well as destroying the World Trade Center, this event will forever be remembered. As I was watching the National Geographic Channel they played a documentary called Inside 9/11. The documentary reminded me of the event and caused remembrances of that terrible day like it was yesterday. The visual effect and historical background causes one to remember the importance of history; as well as the ways one person or political motive can cause uprising that leads to devastating results . As I watch the documentary I feel so much sympathy over the families and friends who lost their loved ones. What should come from this, besides the importance of what lead up to the cause of 9/11, but that these people who attacked the World Trade Center are extremists and do not speak for the people who believe and practice Islam. The terrorist attacks were carried out by radical Muslims. Just because a group attacked Amercia, doesn’t mean we should demonize the whole religion. These men and women on 9/11 deserve to be remembered in a respectful and extremely, honorable way. This documentary actually brought tears to my eyes, it really is so sad to watch and re-live the memories. Although 9/11 caused so many heartaches and a lot of pain one good thing to come out of it was that it brought America together and made everyone work
