9-00 Night On The Vidhyasagar Setu
9:00 pm at night on the Vidhyasagar Setu. Dr Rajesh was driving his car at the speed of 60km/per hour. He was returning from Apollo Gleneagles after six surgeries at a stretch. Suddenly he pulled the brake with all his might. Someone while passing through came in front of his car. Dr Rajesh thought he had done a big mistake. In a few seconds a crowd of people gathered around the accident spot. They all started blaming him. But however the doctor bravely stepped out of his car to see the condition of the unfortunate person. Thank God! He was alive but he was bleeding profusely. He had severe wounds on his body and was completely senseless. By now the crowd was agitated. They started shouting at the doctor. They were even ready to throw stones …show more content…
Dr Rajesh took the entire responsibility on his shoulders. He came to know that the man's name was Anmol. He personally took care of Anmol. Early in the morning he used to come to diagnose the man, he used to bring fruits for him, took him out on his wheelchair for some fresh air, shared many funny incidents of his life, and often came to his room to visit him. He always made him feel comfortable and all these he did in free of cost because he knew that it was his mistake and he needed to rectify that. Time passed and after two months Anmol needed to be discharged from the hospital. By now he was almost as fit as a bee. But on the date of discharge Dr Rajesh was very late. Anmol was waiting and waiting. After about two hours when there was no sign of Rajesh, Anmol left the place and went. Unfortunately on the final day Anmol could not meet his saviour. He felt as if so many words were left unspoken to Rajesh. So much was left to know about his companion, but he had to go silently from there with millions of words kept under his …show more content…
So that Anmol stopped coming to the school and he would regain his position in the class again. But all plans of him went in vain. Anmol was of different metal. All these things could not touch him. On the contrary Anmol's concentration and performance in studies increased manifold. Rajesh was now desperate. He never learned to adjust or accommodate with people. And most importantly, he never learnt to lose. So the dirtiest, nastiest and the cruelest plan were conceived by Rajesh. On the first day of the pre board examinations, Rajesh slipped a text book inside Anmol's desk and went to the invigilator to complain that the boy was openly cheating. When the teacher came to clarify, he indeed found the book open in his desk. Poor Anmol tried hard to explain in his words. He cried, moaned and literally grabbed the teacher's feet. He was not only begging for another chance, but also begging for his life because he knew that once if he would have to leave the school then his future would be in total darkness. But who would listen to that unlucky fellow. Rules were rules. Luck was not in favor of Anmol. He was rusticated from the school at that very moment. He was left with nothing except some books, several certificates and eyes full of tears. Nobody saw him after that
