400 Hour Internship Reflection
As part of the requirements of the OU Health Sciences Center Master in Health Administration program I completed a 400-hour internship over the course of six months. The purpose of the internship is to provide experience in identifying and building upon healthcare leadership skills based on the program coursework and the CAHME competencies. In conclusion, my experience at OU Medical Center included multiple opportunities for growth and reflection. Whether it was working on the patient throughput engagement, additional projects or shadow experiences there were valuable lessons to be learned from everything. In addition to the requirements to obtain the graduate degree it also provided an experience and professional skills I can continue to develop
