360 Evaluation Strengths
360 Evaluation Strengths The strengths that were identified by others in conducting the 360 evaluation seemed to align with all the previous strengths. My field instructor sees me as kind, sweet, sensitive, caring, compassionate, ambitious, intelligent, and hard working. My field liaison seemed to be aligned with my field instructor.
Unidentified Strengths The strengths that were not revealed through any of the assessments or the 360 feedback are idealistic, seek/value harmony, open-minded, flexible, passionate, energetic spirit, and dedication. I believe this was the case because I was an intern and had no power within my agency. I also believe that I put a target on my back because apparently in some social spheres kindness is taken for weakness and I fell hard on that. My field

I currently fall under the domain of relationship building, which is apparently the glue that holds the team together. Personally, I would prefer to be in either the domain of executive or influencing because these are individuals with a dominant personality and know how to get things done. These individuals tend to advocate for everyone in the group. I know that I am not a dominant personality so I suspect I envy those who possess those traits.
Major Strengths After taking various assessments and surveys, I have found out that I am a strong servant leader and weak authentic leader. My major strengths specifically include balanced processing, emotional healing/behaving ethically, value for community/putting followers first, and empowering/helping followers grow and succeed. The strengths that I need to develop/augment are self-awareness, internalized moral perspective, rational transparency, and knowing when to say “no.” I believe that I will grow as I gain more experience and knowledge within the Social Work

This book review is on Strengths Finder 2.0. Written by Tom Rath, this book follows and elaborates on Donald Clifton's Strength Finder assessment created in 1998. Strength Finder 2.0 looks to dispel the outdated belief that only weaknesses need to be improved upon. The textbook Psychology Applied to Work describes this concept as positive psychology, "The aim of positive psychology is to shift the emphasis away from what is wrong with people to what is right with people" (Muchinsky & Culberson, pg. 384, 2016). With that premise on its head, Strengths Finder 2.0 looks to first identify the strengths of others and directs them to improve on what they already do so well. Even though the text can be applied practically, the book really focuses…

Everyone may have strengths and weaknesses. Based on what I have learned from the Ethical Lens Inventory I found my strengths are fortitude and compassion. I demonstrate courage and steadiness in the face of obstacle. Because I value equality, when I am at my best, I demonstrate compassion for others. My weaknesses are confusion and entitlement. So I have to develop the practice of mindfulness and reflection, at some point I will confront the loss of my center, especially if I lose the role with which I have become identified. I pay attention; my temptation will be to believe that I entitled to special privileges because I have not…

I find that my strengths include achievement motivation, school engagement, and reading for pleasure. I'm strong in these areas because I'm a naturally competitive person and find the need to compete with myself to do better then how I did before. My school engagement is because I have a natural interest and enthusiasm for learning new topics. Reading is a strength because it helps me understand people better, it allows me to look into the world and mind of someone new and get and understanding of why they are doing what they are doing. Honesty, authenticity, genuineness, bravery, and valor are my top strengths. I was shocked by these results not only because I feel they are extremely accurate, but these are the things I value most in life, especially honesty, I feel that you can hate a man to the core, but if that man is a truly honest man you can only respect him. I want to be an epitome of a truly honest man, and I believe my character strengths will help me achieve this goal. My bottom strengths were the love of learning, self-control, and regulation. I feel these strengths are just as important as my top strengths, and I need to maximize them all in order to become a great leader.
