16th Birthday Story: The Story Of Alayah Brickson's Story
One of the most important days in a girls life is her 16th birthday. It’s filled with excitement, a new car, the cutest outfit and shoes, and many more. But if you're anything like Alayah Brickson, that’s not how your birthday would go. Ever since Alayah was a little girl her mother said she’s always gone with the flow of things. Instead of an extravagant party Alayah, her aunt, her mother, and uncle went out to eat.

“Mom?” said Alayah with a questionable voice after stepping in the house.

“Yes my love,” her mother responded.

“How come dad didn’t come to dinner? When I talked to him a few months he said he was coming,” she said.

Tiffy gets in the car and Alayah realizes her face full of confusion.

“Everything good auntie?” Alayah asked.

“The nurse told me they don’t have enough of your information on file for you here at this hospital. Which is strange because they should have a copy of your birth certificate,” Tiffy answers.

“I’ll ask mom about it when she gets home tonight,” Alayah suggested.

“No I’ll talk to her when she gets home. You need to get this medicine in your system and get some rest, you don’t worry about anything Tuni,” said Tiffy while buckling her seatbelt.

When they got home, Alayah went upstairs after taking her medicine then went to bed while Tiffy waited for her mother to come home.
Around 8:30 pm Alayah’s mother came home from work, her aunt was waiting on the couch for her.

“Laya I’m home baby,” her mother said as she walked in the door.

“I’m in her Brittany,” Tiffy yelled from the couch.

“Where is my child at? asked her mother. “I haven’t seen her all day.”

“She’s upstairs asleep and she already took her medicine, but we need to talk about something.

“Okay what’s up, how was the doctor’s visit?” Brittany said to her sister with a curious
