1. What makes a good parent according to Dr. Tanya Byron?
According to Dr. Tanya Brown what makes a good parent is the one that doesn’t worry about being The good parent. And actually the best kind of parenting I think comes from the heart is very instinctive
2. What are some of the common problems that children might have?
Common problem that children might have is the little kids would have temper tantrums. This one would go for the toddler stage to 4 years old. Actually for toddlers, it's quite common for toddlers to show some phobic behavior. So toddlers will go through stage of suddenly not liking something new.
3. Why is play important in the parent-child relationship?
It’s important to play in the parent-child relationship because you don’t want your child sitting home eating everything in the house, becoming fat, unhealthy. I’m not saying if you child does that your bad parent. Just try doing something with them. Like game night, going to the park, going to movies, going to library etc. America is the highest with obese rates.
4. Do you think you will be a good parent? Why or why not?
I Think I will be a good parent. No I will be a good parent. I say that because I will provide for them. I’m not going to spoil my kids like them rude kids. I will teach my kids right from wrong. Help them in life. Let them learn from their lesson mistakes. All I want to do for my future kids is give them the best life I can.

1. Why did the men say that they were ready for children?
Both of the men said they had time to think about. Nick was saying if he was committed getting married then he’s committed to have a family.

2. What did the men have to learn as new fathers?
The men learned as being a new father is giving a the baby a bath, picking up the baby, holding the baby, walking around with the baby, changing the baby and etc.
3. Do you think the fathers enjoy fatherhood more today than in the past? Why or why not?
This is confusing so I’m going to try my best to answer it. I think yes because fathers in the present is having more fun. The fathers can be gay, straight, married, transgender, you name it. If it was back in the day it would be married men with children. Working hours to support the family. And the wife do the cleaning and take care of kids. Now a days you could be working or stay-home dad. So dads do enjoy fatherhood now then back in the days.
4. What are some of the difficulties that new fathers (and mothers) face?
Some of the difficulties that new fathers and mother face is the baby schedule. Like when you sleeping and you’re in a good sleep. Then the baby starts crying. The mom or dad have to wake you either feed, change, or see why the baby crying. Then you do whatever you got to do so that’s a difficulty.

1. What are some of the benefits of being “childish”?
Some benefits of being a child is having fun and seeing how you used to be when you was little.

2. Why does Svitak say that adults should listen and learn from kids and not just have kids learning from kids? Do you agree? Why or why not?
When you learn from kids you might have a different perspective on life. Sometimes you wonder why should I listen to kids ? Kids have a whole a lot to say and think. What I like about kids is the think both ways. There so curious and imaginative so listen to what children have to say.

3. Why is trust important in the relationship between kids and adults for learning to take place?
Trust is important between kids and adults for learning to take place because when you lose trust with that person or did something that makes a person look at you differently. Kids and adults advice for each other. If you don’t have trust how will you work with each other.
4. Do you agree with Svitak that parents and adults should have high expectations for kids? Why?
I do not agree with Svitak because not everybody child is the same. Like me myself I know what I can do and cannot do. I’m not going to have my parents push me to do something I can’t do. Like I have a have friend who is in tenth grade and she’s going to two schools. And they are very far from each other. If that was me I would be stressed out. And parents should know what their child can and can not do.
