Maureen is a psychology major who is conducting a study on memory. The participants in her experiment study a long list of words and then recall the list by verbalizing the words to Maureen. Maureen knows which words are correct, and whenever a participant states an incorrect word, Maureen inadvertently shifts her eyes and makes a note on her notepad. As a result, the participants change their recall behavior and tend to recall fewer words thereafter. This scenario illustrates a(n) ________.…

A love relationship in my present life is my boyfriend, we have been together on and off for five years. I am using him as an example because I already know what could make this relationship stronger and what can make it last. I have commitment issues thus the on and off of our relationship. When things get tough I tend to do something to break up the relationship. I think in order to strengthen the relationship I need to work out my commitment issues. I know precisely why I have commitment issues I just do not want to dig up old memories and deal with them. I know that is not the best approach especially when it comes to my mental health but it is easier to run than to stay and deal.…

Through this experiment we have learnt about the basic concept of simulation and circuit design using TINA Sofware in the computer lab. TINA is a software that used to designing, simulating and analyzing analog, digital and mixed electronic circuits. Analysis result can be displayed as sophisticated diagrams or an range of virtual instruments. Any circuit can be design easily by using schematic editor. The components can be chosen from the large library. The parameters of each components can be changed by double clicking on the components itself. By using TINA Sofware we can easily run the experiment in theorical method before run the real experiment. Through experiment Part A: Voltage Divider Rule we has use the TINA software to create a series connection as shown in Figure 5.1 to determine the whether the divider rule is correct or not by using theorical method. We set the power of generator to 9V and put 3 resistors in the circuit and label it as R1, R2 and R3, each with the resistance of 1k, 3.3k and 4.7k. We also added a voltmeter reading between each of the part of resistor to take the voltage reading. After all components in the circuits are connected correctly we click the green run button to let the voltage generator to supply power. Then we get reading on voltmeter in R1, R2 and R3 are 1k V, 3.3k V and 4.7k V thus the voltage divider rule is correct in theorical method because each of the voltmeter get the reading value each for the resistor. In experiment Part B: Current Divider Rule, we use TINA software to create a parallel circuit as show in Figure 5.2. This is for testing the current divider rule in theorical method. We set the voltage generator power supply to 9V and added 3 resistors and label it as R1, R2 and R3 each with resistance of 1k, 3.3k and 4.7k. We also added an ammeter on each of the resistor and label it as I1, I2 and I3 to get the current reading before entering the resistor. We cannot insert the ammeter like adding the…
