Names are supposed to be a method of identifying someone or something and giving it meaning and power. All thoroughout time a name has

either equated to respect for deeds accomplished, horror for attrocities committed, or disdain for the hours that name equates with a sloth

invalid who only sits on the couch and watches re runs of Battlestar Galactica. Which lets of course face facts the only beautiful women on

that show are killing spree heavy cyborgs. Back on the topic, great care should be given when naming. That is unless you're a veteran of

Woodstock and smoked more Marijuana than Wiz Khalifa in Amsterdam. Then you name your kid singing flowers or strawberry sunshine, thus

dooming them to virgininty until their 18th birthday when they can legally change their name. Therefore, great care must be stressed when

attempting to name such an intimidating Rubber du... I mean weapon. In the realm of the bolt action, magazine fed, 30 round magazine, gas

operated, shoulder fired Chuck Norris approved M16, the utter devastation this weapon can cause must have a title fitting of its gregarious

nature. Therefore I have chosen to name my rifle Kim Kardashian. For she spits and sprays deadly obscenities and is responsible for ruining

many a mans life. While still and unmoving, Kim is beautiful and audacious. But anger her and she will lay waste like an all night

Hollywood Kegger with Robert Downey Jr. invited to it. This great piece of weaponry with an even more infamous name is like a sacred

treasure that should be accounted for and respected like a pretentious grandparent. One must keep track of Kim like a guy dating a girl

way too hot for him with copious amounts of male friends. The mistreatment and neglect of such a prize can only be met with swift and

inexorable justice. How could Jet Li not be a Kung Fu Legend if he forgot his special effects crew? How could Barrack enact Obamacare

This article details history of mass shootings that used assault weapons in America. Despite the fact that one’s name is selected by somebody else and inevitably predetermines their fate , while they are living their life they can shape their name to try and conform their own values while also leaving it as a legacy once they are gone. Throughout Song of Solomon, the names of the characters help to disclose an immense amount about their personalities, as well, as how their monetary status creates their motivation, effects their decisions, and helps to form their legacy. One of the weapons that white people liked to use during apartheid was a very big 155 mm that would wound your opponent from a very long distance. Now when I say long distance I'm talking about 25 miles kind of distance. This weapon here is a weapon that many white people wanted to us during apartheid. To show you that I have proof that this weapon was something special, a man by the name of Lt. Col. Hennie Steyn used it and he said" This weapon is probably the best 155 mm ever to been used.…

When we did convoy training I was assigned a cruiser weapon, the M60. This is a weapon that’s suppose to be mounted on the back of a vehicle and its specifications are; Weight, 10.5 kg (23.15 lb). Length, 1105 mm and shoots rounds of 7.62mm, so if someone was taking cover behind a cinderblock wall it wouldn’t matter he is a dead man. Needless to say I had a lot of fun during the convoy training especially when I sat on the back of the vehicle as it was moving at forty miles an hour and the M60 on my lap with my finger down on the trigger. All I could see was a wave of dust as my automatic weapon punished everything that came in its path. Even though all the hot brass was falling around me and burning me, it didn’t faced me, not when I felt the adrenaline running through my…

One’s power and position in a society can give them the “right” or ability to name or un-name a person. Someone can gain this right by his or her status socially, financially, and even racially. If it’s their own child, of course, they have every right in the world to name him or her. But in some cultures, as is evident in “No Name Woman”, they have the right to take away someone’s name if they have disgraced their family and/or community. A name is very significant because it gives a person a sense of who they are, an identity. In “No Name Woman”, Kingston’s aunt had no identity except for the story her mother told her and in “Mary” Marguerite’s new boss, Mrs. Cullinan changed her name to Mary which then, in a way, removed Marguerite’s original identity and gave her a new one, one she didn’t want.…

After we are born, we receive our own names. Names are chosen not by themselves, but by their family member’s. That is the first gift the baby owns and of course, it is free, but not everybody takes the free gift if they don't like it. Just like me and the girl I had read about in the article, “My Name," by Sandra Cisneros. We both don’t like our names because our names are not English names; indeed, it’s the different culture name.…
