ABSTRACT

The railway gate is to be controlled so that the road traffic is to be predicted .The railway gate is to be closed when a train is passing by the way. The opening and closing of the gate is to be done using stepper motors and this stepper motor is controlled by micro controller. The signaling of the train is also controlled depending upon the gate position. Only when gate is closed the green signal is otherwise red signal. So in this project the railway signaling includes the gate control is done using microcontroller. The automatic opening and closing of the gate and also the signaling which depending on the gate position that will be controlled by the microcontroller. 2

In the PC the math lab code is written to get the frequency of different voltages that are produced by brainwave sensor. This is given to the ARM processor by the protocol which is responsible by the UART. The ARM will process the signal and the corresponding emotion is displayed on the LCD display and the speed of the DC motor is reduced or increased based on the voltage and by changing the duty cycle of the PWM signal which is derived by the relay driver and the below diagram represents the serial data transmission to the arm through UART and driving the output to different devices which is responsible by the GPIO. The speed of the wheel is reduced based on the generated frequencies and there cross- ponding emotions by differing the PWM signal which is done by writing the embedded C programme in keil software and it is processed by using the ARM…

Rail Road is very important to understand as a driver. If you do not follow rules that are set to protect you from danger, you can face fatal consequences. It is tragic when you see on the news of train related accident because most of all of them are fatal. As a driver you need to be on the look out when you come to a rail way. On the Warning Devices section of Unit 5 rail road crossing it states,"Public railroad crossings have been marked with warning devices for your safety by highway departments and the railroad companies." They are safety devices out there to keep us safe paid for by the highway department. The same section states," Learn what the warning devices are and watch for them. With these warning devices and caution on your part, you can avoid a railroad-crossing crash." These are all part of car and train…

Cascade Locks is a small town, about 2 miles long. It has 1 crossing and it is located at the eastern end of town. On a typical night we have approximately 20 trains go through. For the purpose of this paper, trains heading east will not be included as they sound their whistle on the way out of town therefore causing less disruption. That leaves us with approximately 10 west - bound trains per night.…

Traffic congestion is one of the main problems in big cities like London, New York, Copenhagen, and Delhi. The primary causes of it are high population and movement of people. With progress in engineering, humanity invents many initiatives to solve this problem. One of the that is public transport area, particularly Metro. The Metro is an underground railway system of the city. According to Business Traveler (2012) the oldest subway was built in London in 1836 and to date the London Metro is the first in the ten top metros of the world. Ahead 2012, in top ten metros of the world there were included subways of Paris, Madrid, Stockholm, Berlin, and Tokyo after the London Metro respectively. The focus of this essay is an evaluating of the effectiveness of underground railway systems in reducing traffic congestion. In order to properly assess the efficiency of metro it is necessary to find, describe, and analyze the transport impact of the metro on car and bus traffic growth and evaluate city traffic in the near and distant future after building a metro.…

The controller is simple and easy-to-construct, and can be used in many applications including machine control and robotics for controlling the axial rotation in XY plane. A similar circuit can be added to control the rotation of the motor in either XZ or YZ plane. Fig. 1 shows the block diagram of the stepper motor control system. The power supply section (in Fig. 2) consists of a stepdown transformer (7.5V AC, 1A), bridge rectifier (comprising diodes D1 through D4), filter capacitors (C1 and C2) and regulator IC 7805.…
