My Perfect Day. Essay Example
The entire community of 21st century people is sick and tired of work and studies, stress and pressure. We are all suffering from hurry sickness and badly need some time for full relaxation. And what is the best way to relax? For some people it`s just to have a perfect day when no one will disturb you from deep meditation and relaxation. I expect my ideal day to be spent with my friends and family.
I am dreaming about having a perfect day somewhere in India or Goa, the place, which is not spoilt by civilization. I would probably wake up around 10 a.m. and tuck into a delicious Indian breakfast or pancakes with lots of jam and different kinds of fruit. Later on, I`d lie in a hummock, sipping fresh coconut milk through a straw and reading a good book. Then, having had delicious lunch, I might meet some of my best friends and we would go for a nice long walk along the coast.
If we got bored we might hire a helicopter to take us somewhere either to enjoy breathtaking views of the sea, waterfalls and mountains or to do some extreme sports like whitewater rafting or windsurfing. Probably, we would try yachting or go on a safari. I don`t know exactly, but we might have a party in the evening or just sit near the fire in peace and quiet.
The weather for my perfect day would bright and sunny. There would be a cool breeze around us keeping us comfortable under the warm sun. On my perfect day, I wouldn’t have to worry about doing homework or turning my assignments in on time. Everything would get done at the right time and at the right moment. Everyone around me would be happy and joyful. Everyone would have all of their needs met and would enjoy their life to the fullest. There would be no violence and everyone would get along well. My perfect day would be spent enjoying time with my family and friends. We would take care of each others` needs and be happy.
After supper, totally relaxed, I`d head for bed, putting an eye-mask in order to avoid being woken up by the

For this project you will write a narrative essay about a significant moment of your life using the literary strategies of plot, character, and setting. This should be a moment when you learned something important about yourself or someone else, or about life. You will develop your story through the use of contraries, creating tension that moves the story forward and gives it significance. You can discuss the importance of your story explicitly, perhaps as a revelation, or you can imply it. Either way, it should be clear that you have contemplated the significance of the event and have pushed your thinking past the obvious, surface-level impact. The focus of your narrative should be “The Moment,” with only enough background to convey its understanding to the reader.…
