Hsm 240 Evaluating Eligibility Rules Assignment Essay Example
Evaluating Eligibility Rules Assignment The Child Abuse Protection Association is one of the best organizations in Missouri. They build families to become stronger and help families heal together. They help individuals, families, and society to learn more about the effects of child abuse and neglect. They teach them how to know if it is happening and who you need to let know. This is exceptionally wonderful for children because it can help them have a better understand of what abuse and neglect really are. The child death rate in Missouri has dropped 15% within the last seven years. I think the more people are aware that abuse and neglect happen every day the more we try to help prevent it from happening.
Based on chapter 6 of the text Child Abuse Protection Association uses the professional discretion and judicial decision eligibility rules. It uses the professional discretion because the counselors have to have a degree in order to help adults, teens, and child psychologically. CAPA uses eligibility by judicial decision to help prevent rules of excluding people. They allow anyone who needs help to come and receive all they help that CAPA believes they need. They have no cost to anyone and are willing to help out anyone who has been abused, neglected, been the abuser, or the neglecter. I believe that there is no stigmatization or off-targeted benefits at the Child Abuse Prevention Association. CAPA seems like they have everything in order and they will help anyone who needs it. They work hard to make sure people have an understanding and know exactly what child abuse and neglect mean. They help teach everyone the difference and all of the signs of abuse and neglect as well. They have volunteers who also aid children to have a less stressful life. The volunteers also help children feel safe in their own home. CAPA makes no judgment to who they help. I do not notice any trade-offs within CAPA. They do not have any overwhelming costs they are a free

After carefully interviewing the Stake holders of the Leonard Cooper Charter School, several issues were observed. The first noticeable concern was the print server. Their management of print jobs on the print server are called into question because of the many collisions on the print server. They are presently using a half-duplex system for their print jobs. A half-duplex system provides signal communication in both directions, however only one direction at a time. A good example of this technology might be two-way radios. The person listening must wait until the transmitter concludes the signal transmission before responding to the call otherwise a collision will occur and the entire message won't get received. In a half-duplex Ethernet network, a collision is the result of two devices on the same Ethernet network attempting to transmit data simultaneously. In the event of a network "collision", both transmitted packets are discarded. Collisions are a normal occurrence on Ethernets. To remedy this problem, an Ethernet standard was put into place called, "Carrier Sense Multiple Access/ Collision Detect (CSMA/CD)" This allows network devices to "take turns" using the signal carrier line. When a device wants to transmit, it checks the signal level of the line to determine whether someone else is already using it. If it is already in use, the device waits and retries, perhaps in a few seconds. If it isn't in use, the device transmits. However, two devices can transmit at the same time in which case a collision occurs and both devices detect it. Each device then waits a random amount of time and retries until successful in getting the transmission sent. (Bryant, 2011).…

Medical billing and coding happens to be a bit more meticulous and complicated than numerous individuals outside of the medical field would be aware of. Since there are many requirements and also the numbers of various insurance agencies, Medicare health insurance in addition to Medicaid most of include distinct requirements among themselves it could become too much to handle for the payment staff in places of work to be sure that everything is correct. Regrettably every one of the requirements must be proper to ensure health professionals as well as doctor's offices are compensated in an opportune way. CASA or court appointed special advocates are an organization made up of ordinary citizens who volunteer to act as agents or spokespersons of the court, in cases involving abused and or neglected children. What is remarkable about this special organization is that CASA special advocates are selected by a judge to communicate on behalf of an abused or neglected child; something that many children involved in the system do not get to experience. The court appointed special advocates (CASA) was established after a Seattle court judge determined he was uncomfortable ruling on cases involving child abuse and neglect without appropriate and substantial information regarding these cases. And in 1977 the idea was developed that extensively trained community volunteers would advocate on behalf of the abused and or neglected children in his court.…

I prioritize equally important goals by which one will be more beneficial towards my future. For example, I might want to plan a trip to go back-packing through Europe for a summer. However, that goal conflicts with my long-term goal to go to college and earn my degree to further my career. The best method to use for conflict management is to use maturity and wise decision making. I would need to think about the benefits of both goals and determine which goal benefits you the most. Earning a degree is the more logical choice at this point in my life because it would help me to provide for my future.…
