Essay 6
June 24, 2014

A Memorable Experience Having children in my life make me feel more responsable. I have two children, teenegers, Elvis 17 years old and David 14 years old. My husband and I raise them with love and devotion but it comes a moment and we relize that they are growing up very fast. My younger son finished eight grade in Forest Middle School. Celebrating my son`s graduation was a memorable experience for me. A good looking is important for this event. For examples, he was dressed in pants, and shirt, and tie. He looked like a man. He is taller than me and that it means too much for me because I `m very short for him. And sure I was in perfect dress for that event, too. I bought a beautiful dress especialy for that day. I invited my mother to be with us in that special day. The ceremony was so emotional. For inctance, the principal`speech was so emotional and encouraging the student for their future, so in the end of it everybody were in cheer. Another emotional moment was when one of the student sang the national anthem. She did it in perfect way and all the people liked it. And the third and important emoional moment was when I heard mo son`s name by the principal of the school who gave him the diploma. I was in tearful from emotions. His name was between honor students. He is such a nice child. He never gives me hard time during his life. My mother and I felt both proud of him. We took some pictures to memorize those moments, with teachers, who felt so proud for my son, and his friends and then we left. The party for gratueted student is the cherry on cake. The party took place in a small bar. He did know nothing about it. The party was a surprise for him. my younger sister was prepared the party. The adornments and color balloons decorated the place. All my sisters and brothers with their husbands and wifes with their children ,too, were there to help her and to celebrate with my family. There also were friends, and relatives,

For a moment until we left the auditorium I thought I had failed, that I had…

As most children grow up, they are aware of their surroundings and take in everything they can understand which adds to their personality and their structure of life. As a child I developed at a level more advanced than the children around me. I learned to use a computer at the age of 3 years old. I read at an 8th-9th grade level while in the 5th grade. In addition, I could handle complex situations better than a average elementary student. The mindset I had as a child unlocked new doors for me. For example, I was not afraid to try new things and accept the lessons that came along with new opportunities. Also, I learned from my parents that going down the path of success isn’t always easy. Lastly, I experienced that life is filled with…

Growing up there were always children in and out of my household. Everytime I turn around my parents were always watching someone’s kid. I am the one in the picture with the sloppy bun in my hair and the bright red cheeks. The one who can't stop smiling. With all my friends surrounding me, it was one of the best days of my life. All fifteen of us look happy; it was a night for many smiles. Everyone is crowded around the table. There are a lot of red cheeks in the picture; the room was as hot as a sauna. There was a strong smell of barbeque sauce in the air as well. The picture was taken right after dinner. The table we are crowded around is messy. There are a lot of cups on the table and bottles of ketchup and barbeque sauce, with dirty, green napkins piled up. The restaurant was as noisy as the circus when the clowns perform. There were a lot of pictures taken that night, but out of all the pictures, this is the best one taken of everyone. Crouched down in front is Brent Dana. He has a grin on his face more than a smile. Brent hates pictures, and he doesn't smile in any of them; he is wearing his red "Rag Tails" shirt that he always wears. Next to Brent is Jade Walker. She has her hair back and is wearing her red "North Face" jacket. Jade has an adorable smile on her face. Next to Jade is Mary Attaway leaning over the table wearing a flowered backless shirt with a black sweater. To the right of Mary is Laura Jones. Laura is slightly leaning her head toward her right shoulder and is wearing a blue shirt with a drawstring tie in front. Laura has her arm around Erica Farnsworth, who has a yellow shirt and white jacket on. She looks especially happy; she is smiling from ear to ear. Starting in the left hand comer (in row two) are Chad Phillips and Caitlin Pollock standing together. Chad has his arms around Caitlin's waist. He has this cute little grin, and Caitlin has a huge smile and rosy red cheeks. Brittany Wilkins is next to Caitlin with a puzzled look on her face, the face you would see in a hard Algebra II exam when you don't think you even learned what the question is asking. To the top right of…

In 5th grade I never wanted to leave Wolcott. I thought middle school was just filled with mean teachers, more work, and mean kids. I guess I was just stereotyping because that’s not at all what it had turned out to be. When I first walked through those doors to Sedgwick I was feeling a whole mix of emotions like happy, scared and excited.…

It was one of the last games of the season, and for a select few, it was a night to celebrate their four years playing in high school: Senior Night. It was about 4:00pm, and the sun was just beginning its descend below the tree line on the Westside of the soccer field. Culver and City both stood on their sides of the field in circles, discussing their strategies. Suddenly, the boys in white and navy began jumping into the air and shouting. It was game time.…
