Often, people will think that once they‟re going to church, they‟re already holy, religious, and good. But there are two good questions to ask them - Are they aware of their actions? Are they sure of their salvation? Some people have a concept in their mind that they will automatically go to heaven if they‟re attending the church worship service or fellowship. Thus, they also think that their lives count by going to church. Indeed, when we‟re going to church, we should be a blessing to others, being the light that shines in the darkness. Going to church should change the way how we live our life. Our actions do reflect if we are really living a changed life. I believe that some of our church members go to church just for the sake of being told that they are holy and they even have perfect attendance to show for it. But we can see their actions; it doesn‟t tell that they are going to church at all. Truly, one of the sad facts for some churchgoers is that they don‟t bear fruits. We always want to influence other people to go to church but before we can really influence others, we should take a look at ourselves first, are we worthy of inviting others? Can they see Christ in us? How can you influence other people to go to church if they don‟t see Christ in us? Like if we keep saying bad words, cheat, and do other bad stuff? Also, when we are going to church, are we really worshipping God in spirit and in truth? Do we have the heart to seek God and willing to offer ourselves as a living sacrifice to God? In fact, in going to church, may we not just only be a good workman of God but also have a heart to really seek Him.
