My dear Jahid,
At first take my heartiest felicitation and sincerely love. I hope you are well by the grace of Almighty Allah. Yesterday, I received your letter. In the letter I could know you have wanted to know about my village. Now I am telling you about that.s
The name of my native village is Palashpur. it’s in the district of Comilla. It’s about 12 kilometers away from the district headquarters. Ours is a village of 9 square kilometers with more than 5000 inhabitants. The inhabitants are from different classes and professions. Most of the people are educated and serve in different offices and educational institutions. The villagers follow their traditional culture. They are religious, helpful and cooperative. They like to celebrate different occasions. They like to play various games and sports. They also have a cultural mind. They’re very much peace-loving. Our village is developed and happy one. It’s a place of different government and non-government offices. There are schools, colleges, madrashahs, post office, telephone exchange, etc in the village.
No more today, please convey my best regards to uncle and aunt, and love to younger.
Yours ever
Jahid

I’m writing this letter to you to inform and update you on my life. However I first wanted to address what happened in Kabul. I'm sorry Hassan. I'm so sorry for everything. However I don't want to dwell on that too much, I just pray that you'll forgive me for all the wrong doing I have done. I know it won't help much, because you're so pure and kind, but Kamal was raped, and he died on the way out of Kabul. On to a more positive subject, life in America has been such an adjustment for Baba, but it has truly been amazing. I went to the ocean and it was even more marvelous than in the movies, oh how I wished you were with me. The ocean is so blue and beautiful, I think I might've even seen a whale. I completed high school and I'm now enrolled in college for creative writing.…

Since its establishment, the school has been thriving on donations, local fund, national fund, and fund-raising projects. The federal government and the state governments have both not increased its funding for years and in fact some have cut funding to some area’s of the school’s curriculum like Arts. This affects the quality of education as the school my not afford to upgrade its infrastructure or technology hence affecting the quality of delivery of education. One way we can sort this out is by creating school stakeholders groups who will be responsible in lobbying the governments both nationally and in states on why schools need more funding. Another way around this problem is by schools diversifying and creating programmes in their schools that will generate revenue to them. This can include having restaurants where the community can buy food, having sports events, plays or selling school merchandise.…

    Indian Villages

Viewed from a distance, an Indian village may appear deceptively simple. A cluster of mud-plastered walls shaded by a few trees, set among a stretch of green or dun-colored fields, with a few people slowly coming or going, oxcarts creaking, cattle lowing, and birds singing--all present an image of harmonious simplicity. Indian city dwellers often refer nostalgically to "simple village life." City artists portray colorfully garbed village women gracefully carrying water pots on their heads, and writers describe isolated rural settlements unsullied by the complexities of modern urban civilization. Social scientists of the past wrote of Indian villages as virtually self-sufficient communities with few ties to the outside world.…
